The last Therapeutic Experience was a beautiful blend of emotional support, spiritual affirmation in a compassionate Community where Therapy meets Faith while holding space for our miracles on the way.
Prayers were lifted 🙇, gifts given as we anchored our faith and hope that God is still in business of doing good.
Tears flowed as the atmosphere was stirred for healing .

People need to understand that there are days when you’re just not in the mood to talk, to socialize or to show up for anyone but yourself and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean you’re cold, distant or unkind. It means you’re human. Some days, your energy is simply needed inward to rest, to reset, to breathe. We all have those moments and respecting them in ourselves and others is one of the kindest things we can do.

Shame is the feeling that a person is, at their core, bad or wrong. A person might feel shame for no reason at all, or long after they have made amends for a misdeed.

Shame can lead to a host of mental health challenges, including depression and anxiety. It may also make it difficult to get close to others. Some people are so paralyzed by shame that they are unable to be productive at work or school.

People experiencing shame may engage in self-harm such as cutting, binge eating, or restrictive eating. Some people attempt to mask or overcome their feelings of shame through:
Substance abuse such as alcoholism or drug addiction.
Compulsive behaviors such as shopping or gambling addiction,
Workaholism etc.
