Vladimir Putin, the longest serving Russian leader since Joseph Stalin, led the country for more than 2 decades.
He was a Cold War officer and a black belt and considers same s*x marriage is equal to devil worshipping. A Lone ranger causing chaos from Syria to Ukraine.
His brothers died in World War II.
- His parents married at 17, during World War II and Putin was born shortly after in October 1952
- A gr***de injured his father during the war and his mother was trapped and nearly starved to death while his two brothers died.
- After the war, Putin’s father took a factory job and his mother swept streets. The family lived in a communal apartment with several other families and lots of rats.

- In 2007, Putin brought his pet dog to a meeting with the then-German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
- When the dog approached her, she froze, and was frightened, as she feared dogs after she was bitten by one in 1995, which Putin was aware of.
- In an interview with a German newspaper, Putin declined using his dog to scare the Chancellor although Angela Merkel had a different opinion.
He helped Soviet secret police recruit spies.
- Immediately after graduating with his Law degree, Vladimir joined KGB’s foreign intelligence institute. Vladimir served in the KGB for 15 years and traveled all over Russia, even making it to Germany for a few years.
- He rose through the ranks of the KGB and eventually reached lieutenant colonel before the country started to have issues.
- After the Soviet Union collapsed, Vladimir left the KGB and decided to start his political career.
Putin had a black belt in judo which was stripped from him.
- Putin has practiced judo since he was 11 years old, before turning his attentions Russian martial art when he was 14.
- He won competitions in both sports in his school and in 2012 was awarded eighth dan, a martial arts ranking system of the black belt. Unfortunately, in 2022, the International Judo Federation stripped him of his black bet and titles.
- He has written books on the subject, co-authoring the book 'Judo with Vladimir Putin' in Russian, and 'Judo: History, Theory, Practice in English'.
Putin has two daughters, but their lives are a secret.
- Putin married Lyudmila in 1983. The couple had two daughters together, Maria and Katerina, who Putin rarely mentions and have never been seen by the Russian people.
- In 2013, the couple announced their divorce on mutual grounds.
- Lyudmila simply stated that they do not see each other frequently and the Vladimir is consumed by his work.
He used to fight with teachers and students in school.
- In ninth grade, Putin was selected to study at Leningrad School, which only accepted the city’s brightest pupils.
- Although his gradebook stated that he was caught passing notes during exams and often fought with his gym teacher and older students.
- In addition, Putin “threw chalkboard erasers at the children”, “didn’t do his math homework”, “behaved badly during singing class” and “talked in class”.
He has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize twice.
- Putin was nominated for his peaceful solution to Syria’s use of chemical weapons.
He persuaded President of Syria to surrender Syria’s weapons peacefully as opposed to aggressive tactics.
- He was also nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. The nomination didn’t come from the Kremlin, instead, it was supposedly submitted by controversial Russian writer and public figure Sergey Komkov.
