There was a time in my life when I honestly struggled to understand people. I couldn’t figure out why someone could be nice to one person yet turn around and be mean to another.

It felt like their kindness depended on who was watching or what they could gain.

One day, I stumbled on a Bible verse in 1 Corinthians 13:4: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” That scripture hit me differently. It reminded me that as Christians, this is the standard we’re meant to live by, we are meant to embody those words .After all ,God is Love

Then I remembered Matthew 7:16: “By their fruits you shall know them,” and John 14:26 where Jesus said the Holy Spirit will teach us all things. That was when everything started to make sense.

From then on, I began to see people more clearly and understand how to identify those that are meant to stay in my life long term.

I’m sharing this because most people struggle without realizing that the wrong people can drain them and even derail or distort their life’s journey or their destiny.

Life is already challenging, don’t make it harder by giving the wrong people access to it..

God can send people with the wrong fruits into your life for a reason but be discerning enough to identify their purpose in your life at that season.

Happy Sunday guys!!!

I hope this speaks to someone who thinks God doesn’t see them .. Trust me , He does.

Truthfully, the country isn’t smiling.

The economy seems to constantly drain the poor and the average-earning Nigerian, yet we still wear smiles, sometimes as a mask, sometimes as a reflection of who we truly are, because deep down, we are naturally joyful people.

Each of us have had encounters with kind Nigerians who restore hope, and others who embody the darker side of our society.

Many Nigerians have endured the pains of kidnapping, theft, home demolitions, broken systems, and countless hardships. Yet, somehow, we rise.

We survive. We laugh even in the face of chaos. As they always say , it’s in our nature, we are happy people.

At times, I wonder, should we raise our voices louder against these issues, or should we keep navigating life the Nigerian way: resilient, cheerful, and unshaken?

One thing, however, is certain: we are Nigerians, we are here, and we will survive and grow regardless.

PS : This is how you look when you are constantly defensive after every feedback at work or even in a business conversation.

Constantly being defensive after every feedback whether in the workplace or during a business conversation can quietly hold you back from real growth.

Feedback isn’t always an attack; more often, it’s a mirror showing us what we may not see ourselves.

When we react by shutting down or getting offended, we miss the chance to improve, connect, or clarify.

Your ability to listen calmly, ask questions, and reflect before reacting can set you apart. It shows maturity, emotional intelligence, and a readiness to grow.

Simply being “right.” Isn’t always cool, and so Instead of constantly guarding your ego, guard your growth.

Listen, learn, and level up.

Your brand’s colors do more than just look pretty, they communicate.

From trust to excitement, calm to urgency.

The color associated with your brand can shape how people feel, perceive, and even unconsciously affect their decision making on if to patronize your brand or not.

This is why it’s important to do a proper research or consult the right professional when picking up your brand color.

When a client says “No,” it’s easy to take it personally, but pause and look deeper.
Sometimes “No” actually means, “I don’t know you well enough yet,” “I’m not sure you understand my needs,” or “Your value isn’t clear to me.

It’s not always a hard stop; more often, it’s a request for reassurance, clarity, or connection.

Objections aren’t rejections, they’re invitations to educate, engage, and build trust.

So, instead of shutting down, shift your perspective: “No, I don’t think you’re the right person” can become “I need to understand you better before I say yes.

It’s not the end, it might just be the beginning of a more detailed conversation.

The first worse thing that can happen to a human being is constantly staying ignorant about their privileges, and rights.

The second worse thing that can also happen to a person is having the full knowledge of their privilege and still being unable to use it because of communal patterns or herds' mindset.

What patterns have you held on to due to your environmental factors?

Have you been verbally abused at your workplace so much that you have lost confidence in yourself and in your abilities?

Are you under some silent societal pressure because your mind is stuck to that herd's mindset?

As the new year begins, start to unlearn and relearn, it's time to soar beyond your imagination. It starts with asking your MAKER to open your eyes to all your lids.

What if you're thinking small, praying small, and lacking faith due to your context and trauma?

What if your next move is to gain insight, rather than a breakthrough?

Let your eyes be opened to the realization that you must break free from the confines of that current pattern. If you still remain there, your chances for Freedom may be limited.

I had to do this write-up today because it breaks my heart to encounter very promising individuals who are only being held back by their minds.

In this new year of 2023, It's time to break barriers, conquer your fears and make this year a victorious one for yourself!
