Ever been in a situation where you have up to 30Gig memory in your flash drive – tried copying a file of 10gig into it and it tells you that the file is too large to be copied into the flash?

That is frustrating, I know. That probably made you conclude that they sold you a fake flash drive right?

No darling, no one sold you a fake flash drive. The problem is that your flash was formatted in FAT32 – File Allocation Table.

When your flash drive is formatted in FAT32, you can not move files larger than 4gig into it at once even if it has disk space of 100GB.

For you to be able to move files larger than 4gig into it, you need to format it in exFAT – Extended File Allocation – This format enables you to transfer files larger than 4gig and when you do this, you will be able to move files up to the memory capacity of your flash.

You're probably wondering if you need an IT specialist to do this for you right? No darling, here is a simple step by step fix to help you fix that problem.

Step 1: Plug in your flash drive.

Step 2: Open File Explorer, right-click the drive, and select Format.

Step 3: In the File System dropdown, choose exFAT.

Step 4: Leave the rest as default, or give the drive a new name (optional).

Step 5: Click Start, and confirm the warning to erase the data.

Once done, try copying that file larger than 4GB again into the flash drive and see the success.

Problem fixed. If you got value, share with your friends and follow me for more valuable content like this.

Stop scrolling, bestie! Did you know that one tiny key on your keyboard can save you tons of time?

Yep, I’m talking about that little Windows logo button you probably 6ignore every day.

Besties, what do you use the Windows button on your desktop or laptop for? I can guess: either nothing… or just opening the Start menu

But did you know that when you combine it with other keys, it becomes a powerful shortcut tool that can make your computer life soooo much easier?

Here are 15 super useful Windows key shortcuts you should know:

Windows + D – Instantly takes you to your desktop without closing your open windows. Press it again to go back to what you were doing.

Windows + E – Opens File Explorer quickly so you can access your folders and files in a flash.

Windows + L – Locks your screen immediately. Perfect for when you need to step away from your laptop.

Windows + Tab – Opens Task View so you can see and switch between your open apps and virtual desktops.

Windows + I – Opens your Settings panel to tweak your system preferences easily.

Windows + S – Opens the search bar so you can look for apps, files, or even do a quick web search.

Windows + A – Opens the Action Center where you can view notifications and quick settings like Wi-Fi and brightness.

Windows + R – Opens the Run dialog box (techies love this one 😉 - yes, I love it).

Windows + P – Helps you project your screen to another display. Great for presentations!

Windows + U – Opens the Ease of Access settings for accessibility options.

Windows + M – Minimizes all open windows.

Windows + Shift + M – Brings back all the windows you just minimized.

Windows + +/- – Zooms in and out using the Magnifier tool (great for those small text moments).

Windows + Ctrl + D – Creates a new virtual desktop to organize your tasks better.

Windows + Ctrl + F4 – Closes the current virtual desktop without affecting your open windows.

So bestie, which of these Windows key shortcuts surprised you the most? Or which one are you trying today? Drop a 💻 if you learned something new!

I recently had to create a smart sheet that helps track light/power bills using figures from card readers connected to a meter.

You see, most of these card readers don’t reset—at least, the ones around here don’t. So, I wanted a sheet that could automatically calculate what each person owes just by entering a few figures.

The logic is simple: users input the date and the current units displayed on the reader. The sheet then subtracts the previous figure from the current one to show the consumed units. It also calculates the bill and optionally shows who paid.

After tweaking it for a few minutes, the sheet was ready—and it does exactly what I hoped. No more manual math!

Now I’m thinking: would it be better to leave the first row (where the auto-calculations begin) blank instead of pre-filled?

Do you have a better idea or suggestion to improve this setup? I’d really love to learn from you.

Drop your thoughts in the comments!

HOW INTENTIONAL ARE YOU ABOUT YOUR LIFE GOALS AND SUCCESS?

During the weekend, I spent my time working on this mini project. It was my first time doing something as tough as that.

You see this simple looking task-manager-blog-site here? — lots of work went into it.

When I thought I was finally done, I wasn't getting the desired end results — I started to debug.

It's almost Monday and my only goal for the weekend was to tackle this project and one other one but here I am, not done with the first project — mentally drained but still determined and that's the only thing I did this weekend — no laundry, no cooking— just me and my laptop.

When I finally saw what looked like the desired result although not perfect, I dressed up and rushed to my 9-5 which has absolutely nothing to do with tech and programming.

I was so mentally drained that unlike me that utilise any spare time I have at work to read, study or take any of my ongoing courses — I was just starring at those activities like they were strange to me.

I have upcoming exams that are very important to me — I couldn't even bring myself to study for them.

But today, something happened and I regained some mental energy — to atleast prepare for my upcoming exams.

First, I saw a message that lite me up — followed by a call that seemed like the icing on the cake.

Second time this year that I have received such kind of call and I became so emotional not out of breakdown but that of gratitude because it all feels like a confirmation that my efforts will never go in vain.

I have intentionally paid for courses since 2020 — met up with some objectives which are all great options or something to fall back to and each time I get called for an opportunity or an opportunity is shared within these communities I paid to access, there's a certain kind of positive energy it gives to me.

It screams HOPE — it screams success — it screams growth and I feel super proud of myself for coming this far.

If you're coming from a place where you weren't handed any baton but have to fight your way through figuring out what should be, what should work and how to have headstart — and after several trials and failures — you still haven't given up — consider it a privilege.

You know why? — it takes more than efforts to breakthrough and not everyone wants to try again after one failure.

If you have even the tiniest of strengths to keep pushing through till you start to notice that there's been a shift from what looks like an endless circle race to a roadway — CONGRATULATIONS!

Yes, tell yourself congratulations and celebrate your win because that's a good sign of progress and neither the universe nor the heavens gives up on those who never gives up trying.

Compete with just yourself and and keep holding tight your Angel till he blesses you.

Some of us are probably destined to wrestle with our Angels till they release our blessings.

Did you get the point? — That tough course, that ethics that your peers undermine and get away with, that big self development book that seems too boring to read, that discipline and restraints, that resilience — are probably all the Angels you need to hold tight till you notice a shift from the point you are to a new point.

Live intentionally and don't leave your life to chances — that's a dangerous way to live.

No one said it will be easy — even those handed the baton don't find it easy at times and you?

Do the work now so that your future self will be grateful not miserable.

Stop worrying about discovering it late — start already — there's a reason you discovered it at last so CONGRATULATIONS ON DISCOVERING IT.

You don't know what you discovered?— that there's more to life than you were exposed to — yes, the very knowledge you have now come to acquire, some people don't even know that such a knowledge exist.

What is Cloud Storage & Why You’re Probably Already Using It Without Knowing”

Hey besties! When you hear of “Cloud storage, what comes to your mind? - Rainfall, sky, heaven?

Anyways, Cloud storage means saving your files online instead of just keeping them on your phone or computer. Think of it like a digital locker where you can store documents, photos, videos, and more — and access them anytime, anywhere, as long as you have the internet. No need to carry flash drives around or worry about losing your files when your phone crashes.

If you’ve ever saved a file on Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, or OneDrive, congratulations — you’ve already used cloud storage! But what is it really?

Whether you're a student, business owner, remote worker, or creative, cloud storage can help you stay organized, reduce clutter on your device, and protect your valuable data.

Here are a few reasons why cloud storage is a game changer:

Saves space on your device
Protects your data from loss
Lets you access files from any device
Makes sharing and collaboration easy
Gives you peace of mind with automatic backups

Some popular cloud storage platforms include:

Google Drive – Offers 15GB free storage and works well with Docs, Sheets, and Gmail

Dropbox – Easy to use, great for sharing large files

OneDrive – Ideal for Windows users and integrates with Microsoft Office

iCloud – Best for Apple users with auto-sync across devices

Mega – Offers end-to-end encryption and lots of free space

But is cloud storage safe? Yes! Most providers use strong encryption to protect your files. Just make sure you use a strong password, turn on two-factor authentication, and avoid clicking suspicious links.

So bestie, if you haven’t been using cloud storage intentionally, this is your sign to start today! Try uploading a file to Google Drive or OneDrive and see how easy it is to access it from another device. It’s one small tech habit that can make a big difference.

Have you used cloud storage before? Which platform do you love or trust the most? Let’s talk in the comments

If you got value, please share with your friends

Oh picture is me making a comparison between Microsoft Office Suite of Window LibreOffice of Linux.

GUARD AGAINST BAD ENERGY FAMZ.

There are certain social traits I have that seem both confusing and mesmerizing to lots of people who perhaps have encountered me somewhere, especially online.

When it comes to building social connections, my relationship with you in a mutual community is different from my relationship with you in person.

Yes, we could relate well in the group, but trust me, I may never even ask your name. I will just assume that whatever shows up as a name in your profile is actually your name.

It takes me time to mark people by name. It takes me time to mark people by their contact unless in situations where there has been a significant reason to.

I could vibe well with you in a group, comments section, but trust me, that is not an invitation to come closer or start to entertain some egotistic thoughts about your place in my space.

I have very few people I consider true friends, but I have lots of “friends.” So if I tell you that I want to be your friend in a group – well, do not brag too much about it yet until we have more meaningful reasons to connect.

You know why? I’m deep. I do lots of screening, trying to discern a person's thought-process so that I will understand at what level I should relate with them to avoid chaos and too much misunderstanding.

You know what is more? My feelings are too sensitive, and bad energy irks me especially when it is completely baseless.

WHAT IS BASELESS BAD ENERGY?

It is a negative energy which one puts up over a matter that has no direct effect or impact on them.

It is trying to stir up negative propaganda about a person and inciting everyone to join.

It is bad energy that makes people inherit a fight, a hatred, or a curse that is not for them.

You want real-life examples? Here are a few!

Getting angry over how an individual with whom you have no affiliations chose to celebrate their wins or mourn their loss, as though they even know that you exist somewhere with your negative self who is grieving over how they are living their lives.

Remember, people's actions, inactions, lifestyle, culture, nature, and what have you — affect you by just 10% or less, and your reaction to it tells more about you than it does the person whom you are reacting to.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH BAD ENERGY?

If you're naturally positive and enthusiastic, don't entertain even the slightest bit of bad energy. Block it like your life depends on it — because your peace and joy do.

Social connections should empower you. If anyone — individual or group — constantly criticizes or undermines you, remember: negativity often doesn’t need a reason, just a willing agent.

Sometimes, people are just playing a part in someone else’s drama without even knowing it. Protect your peace. Withdraw your attention. And always relate with wisdom.

What is more? Do not choose your place in people's lives and space — they will place you based on how you have impacted them, either directly or indirectly. And when they finally hand you the keys to that part, utilize it humbly because humans are dynamic, and change is constant.

Energy is currency. Good energy is a treasure — one that sends a great signal into the universe and helps your subconscious make a paradigm shift toward a new horizon — protect your energy famz and send only positive vibes into the universe.

I spent more than 6 hours today wondering why the changes I'm making in my code files are not reflecting in my browser.

I was working on React + Vite for the first time after setting up my code editor in my new operating system.

I changed the text in App.jsx. I changed the background. I even added a console.log. But each time I refreshed the browser, it kept showing the default Vite + React page. No matter what I tried, nothing changed. I became weak but kept on wondering what the problem could be.

I checked the file paths. I restarted the dev server. I even switched browsers. Still the same thing.

At this point, I thought of running my code online — and it worked just fine. Then I knew the problem was not my code, nor my browser.

I also hoped it had nothing to do with environment variables. Did I mention that I had to edit the names of my paths to small letters and used hyphens to separate them? You know, when you're looking for a solution, you have to try everything — just in case.

But guess what?

Nothing worked. I created a new folder — same thing. I closed all project folders and reopened them — same thing.

The fifth time I decided to close my files, I noticed the screen was asking whether to save or not. Then it occurred to me that the same screen had been popping up each time I closed those files — but I never used it.

I clicked Save immediately and curiously checked my browser — and boom, it updated!

That was when it occurred to me that since I migrated to a new OS, I had not toggled on auto-save in my code editor.

Hey God! Is this how today has gone by without me being able to even start a mini project that is due this weekend?

I'm not sad or depressed — I'm just weak. Because how could a tiny, unsuspected problem hold me back fixing what didn’t even need fixing?

Anyway, one day, if you encounter a problem like this, remember to check if you toggled on auto-save in your code editor.

Now I'm feeling a headache for absolutely no reason. Ensure you toggle on auto-save in your local code editor to avoid getting frustrated over your code not working.

Check the comments to see how to toggle on auto-save if you're using Visual Studio Code by Microsoft.

I spent the whole of last week backing up my files, migrating to a new OS — operating system and learning so many new things in the process.

It was quite technical but I found it satisfying being able to sort out all the issues I encountered.

Before now, whenever my system fails, I will run to engineers who sort the problem and take money from me — well, they deserve it or don't they?

My system failed several times in the process — at some point, nothing seems to be working till I utilised my intuition and boom — the solution came — then the victory.

I spent the weekend restoring my backups — slept in between monitoring the backup and trashing some Windows only packages that I have in some folders.

I then installed some Apps compatible with my new operating system and played around them understand them better.

Next was to try running some of my practice project and boom, everything set and I rewarded myself with a movie yesterday.

Went to bed by past 1am today —woke up by 6am still drowsy but have to go to work — Of course for most part of last week, I didn't get a proper sleep because I kept monitoring the backup and installation process.

Today I had to work and take some lessons too from my Learning Management System —LMS and I battled with staying fully awake.

I bought chewing gums but it didn't help much.

Now I'm home — still feeling drowsy and at the same time contemplating completing a lesson and doing the mini project that came with it.

Deep down, I want to do both but have to chose one.

I already brought out my PC from my bag and thinking which I should do next.

I might as well sleep first and probably work when and if I wakeup at midnight.

How was your day famz?

Weeks ago, Microsoft said my device can't be upgraded to Windows 11, today I'm using Windows 11 on the same device.

When I started getting the notification that Windows 11 will stop getting security updates from October 10th 2025, I tried migrating to windows 11 but was told my device is not compatible.

I thought I could keep using it while thinking thinking I could get a new device before then but guess what?

It was not compatible with some programming languages as I keep getting errors.

I found it quite draining as I was some weeks behind on my assignments but guess what?

Today, on the same PC — I am using the same Windows 11.

I didn't have to buy a new PC — I just had to put my tech brains to work and voila — I'm using same Windows 11 inside same PC.

Now, if you're not ready to get a new PC and your current PC does not support windows 11, there's no need to panic.

I will fix it for you and you can start using Windows 11 in the same PC you got old it wasn't compatible.

Soon, I will write on the steps to follow but how patient are you to go through the entire process?

It's not a walk in the park — it's not also a rocket science but all I know is that it is possible — I just need to know a thing or 2 about your PC and I will get it running or guide you towards getting that done so that you don't get stucked.

How's your weekend going?
