This is exactly why I love the concept of Miss Afrikana International. ๐๐
For centuries, Africans and people of African descent have left their footprints across the globe; from the Caribbean to Brazil, Haiti, Colombia, North America, Europe and beyond. Yet despite our different nationalities, many of us share the same roots, history, culture, resilience and beauty.
Miss Afrikana International recognizes that Africa is not just a place on a map, it is a people, a heritage and a global family.
In a world where Black women have often had to fight for visibility and equal representation, there is something beautiful about a platform created specifically to celebrate African excellence in all its forms; whether you're from Lagos, Accra, Kingston, Port-au-Prince, Rio de Janeiro or even London.
No borders. No exclusion. Just a celebration of African heritage and global Black excellence.
