WAKE-UP CALL

Hey, friends! Let's get real for a second. How many of us have been stuck in a situation that's just not serving us? Maybe it's a one-sided love that's draining your energy, or a toxic relationship that's sucking the life out of you.

It's time to WAKE UP and take control! You deserve so much better than to be stuck in a cycle of hurt and disappointment.

Remember, love shouldn't be a chore. It shouldn't leave you feeling drained, anxious, or unsure. Real love lifts you up, supports you, and makes you feel seen and heard.

So, take a step back and evaluate your situation. Ask yourself:

Am I truly happy in this relationship?
Do I feel valued and respected?
Am I growing and thriving, or am I stuck in a rut?

If the answer is no, it's time to make a change. You deserve to be in a relationship that nourishes your mind, body, and soul.

Don't settle for anything less! You are worthy of love, care, and respect. Take the leap and invest in yourself. You got this!

Share with someone who needs to see this! Let's spread some love and positivity

As a graduate, I'm constantly battling expectations from family, friends and society. It's overwhelming, and it's easy to lose myself in the chaos. But I've learned that prioritizing my mental health is crucial to surviving and thriving🌹

Here are the ways I protect my mental wellbeing:
1. I escape into books to clear my mind and spark new ideas.πŸ’˜πŸ“•
2. I spend time with loved ones and call through too.πŸ˜ŒπŸ“ž
3. I check out my throwbacks and recount my journeys and growth.πŸ’•
4. I capture life's beauty through my lens, expressing my creativity and relieving stress.😘
5. I experiment with new outfits, take selfies, and practice self-love.πŸ’•
6. I edit photos and videos, showcasing my artistic side and curating my online presence.πŸ₯°
7. I learn JavaScript, expanding my skills and staying adaptable in a rapidly growing world. It is deep. And fun too though.πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»
8. I work on a CV Builder App, helping others create stunning resumes while refining my coding skills as well.🌹🎯
9. I make a conscious effort to smile, even on tough days, knowing it can shift my mood and perspective.😍
10. I practice regular exercise which help me unwind and manage stress. These include jogging and walking too πŸ₯³
11. Listening to my favourite artist helps me reach the top of my voice even if I'm stressed or tired. And this also elevate my moodπŸŽ§β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

By incorporating these habits into my daily life, I've found a healthier balance between expectations and personal wellbeing. What are your favorite ways to prioritize mental health?β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸ˜ŒπŸ₯³

"I Thought I Was a Sports Enthusiast... Until the Lagos Marathon!

As a self-proclaimed sportsman, I've always prided myself on my endurance. I've crushed 8-10km runs without breaking a sweat... or so I thought!

But the Lagos marathon was a different beast altogether. I hit a wall just 1km in and was left gasping for air. What was going on?! Was it the pre-race competitions that drained me? Or had I simply lost my mojo?

Panic set in as I scanned the crowd for my comrades. Had they ditched me or had I left them in the dust? I was torn between stopping to catch my breath and pushing through the embarrassment.

But then I remembered the wise words of my coach: "Endurance is not just physical, it's mental." I dug deep, drawing on every last ounce of motivation.

And then, like angels in running shoes, I met two fellow runners who paced me to the 5km mark. We pushed each other to the finish line, and I crossed it before they did!

That's why my medal means the world to me. It's a reminder that with grit, determination, and a dash of humility, I can overcome even the toughest challenges.
