Lagos State has officially declared Thursday, August 20, 2026, as a work-free day for public servants to commemorate this year's Isese Day celebration.

Key Details of the Declaration

Purpose: The day honors and celebrates Yoruba traditional religion, ancestors, deities, and cultural heritage.

Affected Workers: The directive applies specifically to public servants and government offices across Lagos State.

Resumption: Government operations are scheduled to resume normally on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

Neche left the Big Brother House last night on a voluntary exit. It was like a flash. She called the housemates like she wanted to brief them about the wager but dropped the heartbreaking news instead. Flora took her to the arena,Oyin,Keivo and others followed, hugging her and trying to find reasons for her decision.
Oyin and Flora had the opinion that Neche left because Godessa and Sheba made her reign difficult,if this is true, it's not worth it because her reign is supposed to end today being Monday.
My pain was when Godessa hugged Neche ๐Ÿ™„ an attitude that annoys me mostly in this life is when a competitor is acting like a friend ๐Ÿ“Œ The housemates are there to compete, your opponent is not your friend.
Anyway, I wish Neche all the best. She didn't leave empty-handed,she won some tasks and the house won a wager during her regime.

Congratulations to Governor Ademola Adeleke. With the conversation I had with a few Osun people, they do love him really so this win is well-deserved. However,he should endeavour to carry the youths along in this second term,most of the major complaints came from the youth,no one is perfect.

Lagos and drama are Siamese twins. There's at least one drama for every Lagosian to witness daily.
This long red bus stationed at Barracks/Surulere called passengers to Ojota,Ketu,Mile 12 specifically but trust some strong head people. As we approached Onipanu,some passengers at the back shouted 'O wa oooooooo " the driver increased his speed, his conductor said he wouldn't stop anywhere until Ojota. I felt pity for the passengers who were supposed to alight at Onipanu but pity does nothing to an average Lagos driver.
Even fellow passengers blamed the Onipanu fellows for deliberately ignoring the driver's warning from Barracks,he said Ketu/Ojota 500 hundred, Ikorodu 800 oo. Onipanu passengers wanted to pay 200 but driver said he will collect his 500 when they reach Ojota. When we got to Ojota, the passengers who were supposed to alight at Onipanu paid 500 naira with plenty shege danburuba ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜•
In Lagos, listen to the destination being called by the conductor and check your purse before boarding.
