Like Sensory Adaptation, when you no longer feel a particular stimulus over time; someone can get used to your kindness, and it feels like a norm, which when you don't measure up to the initial gestures or kindness, rather than appreciate, they tend to complain. That is what I term relational Habituation.
This is followed by these behaviours, and women are mostly guilty of it.
- Complacency: when someone becomes too comfortable and stops making an effort
-Taking for granted: assuming someone will/ should always be there or do things for you
- Entitlement: feeling like someone owes you something.
