We learned about love in church today, and I was thinking about something, so I decided to share it here…
You know, when it comes to love, I have come to realize that everyone must not love you.
People often attribute love to liking something about someone. For instance, if someone likes the way you talk, the way you walk, or the way you do things—especially when it aligns with how they do things—they tend to love you.
But when you do something they don't like, or you don't behave the way they expect, they can immediately dislike you. Sometimes, they don't even care if you have a good attitude or a good character. As long as what you're doing doesn't align with what they want, they dislike you instantly.
And I have come to accept the fact that not everyone must love me. I might be different from you. I can't walk like you, I can't talk like you, and I can't do things exactly the way you do them.
So, if you cannot overlook those differences about me and focus on my attitude and character, then stay in your own lane.
I'm not talking about male-and-female relationships ooo 😄. I'm talking about human relationships in general—neighbors, classmates, schoolmates, church members, colleagues, and others.
But the most important thing is this: as human beings living this short life, we should try as much as possible to avoid becoming certain kinds of people—gossips, sadists, narcissists, troublemakers, bullies, and people who constantly bring negativity into the lives of others.
In fact, I think the general name for all of them should be Toxic People.
Always stay in your own lane, respect people's differences, and most importantly, love yourself.
