The Value of Freedom Is Indigenous to Africa – Dr. Feyisade Adeyemi, founder Chale Institute

Dr. Feyisade Adeyemi, founder of Chale Institute, has emphasized the African roots of freedom and self-determination. He said, “the value of freedom is indigenous to Africa,” emphasising that the concept of freedom is deeply rooted in African culture, history, and philosophy even before the influence of external cultures or colonial powers.

He made the statement in an interview with The Peoples’ Mouthpiece shortly after his organization, Chale Institute’s fellows-in-training hangout.

When Wolves Wear Sheep’s Clothing

It’s disheartening to see individuals who claim to be spiritual leaders engaging in heinous crimes. The recent case of a cleric dismembered a human being and kept the body in his house for days is incomprehensible and heartbreaking. How cruel has the world become that we can no longer trust anyone? The victim, who trusted the cleric and felt safe with him, met a gruesome end.
