Samson was not an ordinary man.

Before he was born, his destiny had already been announced by the Angel of the Lord. He was born under a divine covenant — a Nazirite vow. Heaven placed a sacred mark upon his life:

* He was separated unto God from the womb

Samson carried unusual power because he carried a divine assignment.

But the tragedy of Samson was not that he lacked strength.

His tragedy was that he placed his head on the wrong lap.
