It is inappropriate to kiss other people's babies on the mouth , no matter how familiar you're with them.

If it's not your baby, use the cheek or forehead.

Some parents may be shy to rebuke you but within themselves, they don't feel okey with such attitude.

It's also wrong to touch the baby's hand especially when your hand is not clean because the baby will end up taking the hand to the mouth.
