Who is teaching small business owners nonsense ā€˜marketingā€™ gimmicks???!!!

Why are you selling cake and twerking to start your video? Aunty, kilode??! We canā€™t even follow vendors in peace again. Why do we have many online vendors giving the vibe of runs girls? Itā€™s tiring! Guys too and n**e chest up and down. Wetin concern selling phone charger with big chest and biceps. How much energy does it take to lift a charger ehn???

And itā€™s just laziness. Instead of putting in the work to learn how to properly create content, write good copies, learn to run ads, etc, you just face camera with what God didnā€™t give you to be harassing people up and down. This is why the social media space is sexually charged up. Thereā€™s one aunty like that on instagram selling real estates with twerking videos. I was innocently using her as a random example to some of the people I share business tips with when they suddenly alerted me that they cannot use her strategy o. I didnā€™t get it because the videos I saw were clean content, but they showed me evidences. Ah!

In the future, when others are telling their children how they mastered Google ads, Meta ads, copywriting, building sales funnels, learning to close sales, applying for grants, raising investments, etc, in order to build successful businesses, some people will be saying things like, ā€˜Even me, I cannot explain how I did it, but letā€™s just thank Godā€™. Thatā€™s the language of shame in business.

Someone is selling 5000 templates for Wordpress design for 1000 naira. Another is building websites for people for just 50,000 naira with free domain and hosting. Awon man must chop enterprises. Best believe that they are steal.ing other peopleā€™s intellectual properties. I ran an ad last week for a website design package of 750k (to be delivered in 5days) and while people were in the comment section foaming and ranting I was busy closing some of the leads on WhatsApp.

I donā€™t use pirated themes and plugins. Everything is premium and that comes with a lot of peace of mind for both myself and my clients.

One even said, ā€˜a whole 750k for just website?ā€™ To that I responded, ā€˜we just finished quoting over 6m for a bespoke design (UI/UX and Development)ā€™. When he was done reading, I deleted and blocked him because who called him in the first place? Busy body. I donā€™t get the attitude of going to peopleā€™s ads to talk nonsensešŸ˜….

Some of them have ā€˜kinikan global ltdā€™ as their business names. Global brand that wants to launch website with 2500. You better hustle make 750k no dey sound like INEC budget.
