My car blew up in Lagos. Simply exploded and started burning.
By yesterday a colleague already sent me blog posts. Since I've not answered phones really, except concerning previous commitments.

Fortunately no one was hurt. I even got my shoes out. The thing is I was in a meeting and we heard the explosion, could see the commotion and hear the fire truck but had no idea it was my car. It had an electrical issue attended to that morning. Most likely led to the explosion.
Ive been quite busy because I had meetings lined up and commitments until last night. This was 48hours ago, so now I can appraise the situation and move forward. Many of my industry people have been calling mournfully, but honestly there's nothing to mourn and no one was hurt. Cars are replaceable, people are not, I'm just glad it didn't happen while I was in the car. Everyone has been teasing that I always sit in the car. Well actors have no office, the car and its air-conditioning can be a respite especially when we film outdoors. you guys have been amazing.
The point is that this one that I didn't need to be in the car, i wasn't. So it's all good people. It's only a car. No lives lost, no injuries incurred and no other properties destroyed.
