🎙Enzo Maresca's Full Pre-Brentford Press Conference - Part 1/2:
🔹Enzo Maresca: "Cole [Palmer] took part in the session yesterday for the first time, not the entire session. We have one more session this afternoon and we are going to try with him to see if he's okay, otherwise he will be out tomorrow. He is recovering from an injury, it's not managing him, it's recovering from an injury. When he is available, we need to manage him because of the amount of games."
🔹Enzo Maresca on Liam Delap: "It's around 10 to 12 weeks."
🔹Enzo Maresca on Alejandro Garnacho: "He is working well. For sure, he needs to work because he arrived here not 100% fit. He needs to work. He is working well and we will see. Hopefully we can give him minutes."
🔹Enzo Maresca on Nicolas Jackson: "Nico, for me, it is quite easy in terms of he is a Bayern Munich player. I sent him a message and wished him all the best. He was working well when he was here, so I wish him all the best."
🔹Enzo Maresca on Brentford: "I think it's always a tough game. It was last year in both games. The Premier League is the best league in the world because against any club it is always tough. Tomorrow we are expecting exactly the same."
🔹Enzo Maresca on Levi Colwill being in CL squad: "Depends where we arrive in the CL. Levi's injury is ACL injury, so it is not one month or two months, it is six, seven or eight months. For sure, he will be back but it is not something we are worried about."
🔹Enzo Maresca on Reece James playing twice for England: "In the moment that any player joins an international team, he is fit to play the minutes the manager thinks he has to play. It's not in my hands. When Reece is here, we try to manage him as best as we can. Reece is showing he is quite fit to play two or three games in a week."
🔹Enzo Maresca on Enzo Fernandez: "Enzo is a good player. He struggled at the beginning of last season about what we wanted from him, but the moment he realised, he was a much better player..."
