This weekend, I had the privilege of being invited as a Special Guest at TheData Immersed(TDI) Tech Summit 1.0 – “The Next Digital Revolution: Tech, Ethics, and Society.”

The speakers and panels were truly top-notch — kudos to Anne Nnamani for putting together such a remarkable event.

We explored thought-provoking topics, including:
- Bridging the gap between academia and AI
- Boosting online visibility as a global talent
- Moving beyond talent to making lasting impact
- Data protection and privacy in the digital age

One of the highlights for me was the keynote session by Alex Onyia, CEO of Educare. These quotes stuck with me:

Today marks 4 years since The Intern Place was born, around 11:20 PM to be exact.

We haven’t fully launched version 2 yet; we’re still building, still learning, still refining.

The mission remains the same: to connect job seekers to internships and entry-level opportunities, and help companies hire efficiently — now powered by AI.

Deep gratitude to everyone who has believed in us, supported us, and shared in this vision.

The internship recruitment space still has a long way to go. We must create a consistent, sustainable pipeline of young, talented professionals entering the workforce.

We’re on that journey and we’re just getting started. 🚀

LinkedIn Hack to Boost Your Visibility

A smart strategy I learned recently is reposting my posts, triggering the algorithm to favour me.

Here is a breakdown of why and how reposting works, plus a few pro tips to maximize the approach.

Why Reposting on LinkedIn Works
+ LinkedIn’s feed is not chronological, it is engagement-driven. If your post didn’t get early traction or if your audience wasn’t online when it was posted, it may never show up in their feed.
+ Different time zones = different active windows for your network. Reposting increases the odds of your content appearing when your connections are actually online.
+ Most people won’t notice a repeated post or if they do, it reinforces the message.

⏱️ Reposting Tip
+ 3–4 Hour Intervals: This is ideal for rotating through peak activity periods (e.g., morning, midday, evening).
+ Edit Slightly: Change the hook, add a new emoji, or update the CTA (call to action) to avoid looking repetitive.
+ Use “Repost” Feature Wisely: You can repost (share) the original or simply publish it again as a new post.
+ Post in Off-Peak Hours Too: Especially useful for global audiences. Test posts at 6 AM or 9 PM your time.
+ Avoid overdoing it: Reposting the same content 2–3 times over a few days is okay. But spamming your feed can annoy your audience.

After reposting, engage with people in your comments and tag someone to boost reach. Also, reply to other posts just before or after yours goes live as it activates the algorithm around your profile.
