Dear Lord, thank you for another academic year . We’re grateful and thankful for providing and protecting our children all through the holidays and we ask that you continue to watch over them as they go to school each day.
Give them a mind that is eager to learn and a heart that is open to kindness. Help them to be good friends to others and to find wonderful friends for themselves. Grant them the wisdom to make good choices and the courage to stand up for themselves and do that which is right.
May you O Lord continually grant them wisdom, understanding, excellent spirit, retentive memory. Above all, may the fire of your love and grace burn ceaselessly in their hearts.
All these and many more we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
