Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

💡 The Lord, Glorified be He, does not withhold anything of this worldly life from His believing servant except that He gives him something better and more beneficial in return. And this is not the case for anyone other than the believer.

However, due to the servant’s ignorance of what benefits him, and his ignorance of the generosity, wisdom, and kindness of his Lord, he does not realize the difference between what was withheld and what has been stored for him. Rather, he is obsessed with loving the immediate (worldly gain), even if it is lowly, and lacks desire for the Hereafter, even though it is lofty.

✔️ Among the virtuous deeds:
Waiting for the prayer

▪️ Sitting in the mosque while waiting for the (next) prayer carries a great reward.
The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said:
"The angels continue to send blessings upon one of you as long as he remains in his prayer place and does not break his wudu, saying: ‘O ALLĀH, forgive him. O ALLĀH, have mercy on him.’"
Narrated by Al-Bukhārī and Muslim.

"Overlooking faults is Faults/Shortcomings!!"

It was said to one of the wise: “What is chivalry (murūʼah)?”
He replied: “It is overlooking the Faults/shortcomings of brothers.”

Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

The Prophet ﷺ combined, in his saying “Fear ALLĀH and be moderate in seeking [provision]”, the benefits of both this world and the Hereafter. The delights and pleasures of this world are attained through taqwā (God-consciousness), and peace of heart and body, along with relief from anxiety, excessive eagerness, exhaustion, stubborn striving, and misery in pursuit of worldly matters are attained through moderation in seeking [provision].

So, whoever fears ALLĀH will attain the pleasures and delights of the Hereafter, and whoever is moderate in seeking [worldly gain] will be spared the distress and worries of this world.

📌 ALLĀH the Exalted said: {He grants wisdom to whom He wills} [Sūratul-Baqarah vs 269]

💡 Whatever knowledge and sound judgment a person has is a bounty from ALLĀH, the Almighty. So, if ALLĀH bestows upon a servant knowledge, sound judgment, strength, capability, hearing, and sight, he should not become arrogant, for these are all attributes granted by ALLĀH. If ALLĀH had willed, He could have withheld them, or even taken them away after granting them. ALLĀH may take away knowledge from a person after having given it, and He may even take away wisdom, so that all his actions become reckless, misguided, and wasted.

From Sa’d Bn Abī Waqqāṣ (may ALLĀH be pleased with him), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said:
"Is one of you unable to earn a thousand good deeds every day? (Whenever) He glorifies ALLĀH (by saying: Subḥānallāh) a hundred times, and it will be recorded for him as a thousand good deeds, or a thousand sins will be removed from him." [Narrated by Muslim]

Explanation on the Hadīth:
Remembering ALLĀH (dhikr) brings comfort to the heart and soul, grants peace of mind, and greatly increases a person's balance of good deeds.

The meaning of the Hadīth is:
Can’t any of you earn a thousand good deeds daily simply by saying Subḥānallāh (Glory be to ALLĀH) a hundred times? Saying this, or similar words like: Alḥamdulillāh, ALLĀHU AKBAR, or Lā-ilāha-illallāh, earns a thousand rewards — because each good deed is multiplied tenfold — or a thousand minor sins will be forgiven.

The sins referred to here are minor sins, as major sins require sincere repentance to be forgiven.

📌 ALLĀH ﷻ said:
*{But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you}*
[Sūratul-Baqarah vs 216]

*💡 In it is a message:*
An indication to surrender to the will of ALLĀH ﷻ. Every person, upon reflection, can find many things in their life that they disliked at first but which later brought immense good, and many pleasures that ended up bringing great harm. Truly, man does not know, and ALLĀH alone knows, so what harm is there if one submits to Him?!

*💡The Truth⏳*

*To the youth searching for the right path: Do not limit your sustenance to a single source.*

Many young people today feel discouraged:

They feel as if their degree is useless,
Or they find a job that doesn’t cover the cost of living,
Or they have ambitions but no clear ground to walk on.

So the days begin to look the same, the questions multiply, and the answers become fewer.

But the truth is: whoever limits their livelihood to just a job has wronged themselves.
And whoever thinks that a salary is the only way has shut the vast doors that ALLĀH has opened for His servants.

*Small businesses, freelance work, learning new skills, trade, design, remote education, digital opportunities…*
All of these are lawful means for those who open their eyes and hearts, and strive with what they can.

It’s okay to start from zero, many people carved their path from nothing, because certainty lived within them.

Do not be a prisoner of a job, nor a captive of a salary. Instead, be free in your thinking, wide in your efforts, and reliant on a Generous Lord whose treasures never run dry.

Stillness does not suit a youth who possesses determination and faith. Indeed, ALLĀH has made the earth accessible for the seeker of sustenance, and whoever relies upon Him, He will suffice them.

Dear Men, know -may ALLĀH have mercy upon you-!

"Men are caretakers over women" — a great verse that has been misunderstood!

Allah Almighty said:
{Men are caretakers over women} [An-Nisāʾ: 34]

Many people assume that qiwāmah (caretaking) means domination, control, or erasure of the woman’s role — but this has nothing to do with Islāmic teachings. Rather, it is an imposition on the verse of what it does not bear.

So what is the meaning of qiwāmah?
Linguistically, qiwāmah means: to take care of something in a way that ensures its wellbeing — that is, care, responsibility, improvement, and financial support.

In the correct interpretation, as stated by scholars like At-Ṭabarī and Ibn Kathīr:
Qiwāmah (caretaking) is a duty assigned to the man — not an honor of superiority.
It is based on providing for and bearing the responsibilities of the family — not on absolute preference or superiority.

So, the man is obligated to oversee the affairs of the woman justly — not to dominate her based on his own desires.
And the woman is honored, a partner, with her own opinions and position — not a follower who is unseen or unvalued.

Islām does not marginalize women.
Rather, it provides a precise balance between rights and responsibilities — based on justice, not oppression.

🔘 Types of Character (Akhlaq)

▪️ Some aspects of people's character are innate, meaning they are naturally predisposed to them and they appear in them from early upbringing. Other aspects of character are acquired through training and striving.

The Prophet ﷺ said to Al-Ashajj of the tribe of ‘Abd al-Qays (may ALLĀH be pleased with him):
"You have two qualities that ALLĀH loves: forbearance and calm deliberation."
He asked: "O Messenger of Allah, are these qualities something I developed, or something Allah created in me?"
The Prophet ﷺ replied: "Rather, ALLĀH created them in you."
He said: "Praise be to ALLĀH, who created in me two traits that ALLĀH and His Messenger love."
Narrated by Abū Dāwūd.

The Prophet ﷺ also used to say in the opening supplication of prayer:
"O ALLĀH, guide me to the best of manners, for none guides to the best of them except You, and turn me away from bad manners, for none can turn them away from me except You."
Narrated by Muslim.

▪️ The statements of the Prophet ﷺ also affirm the natural differences in people's temperaments.
Among them is his saying ﷺ:
"Indeed, ALLĀH created Ādam from a handful that He took from all parts of the earth, so the children of Ādam came according to the earth's variety: some white, some red, some black, and those in between; some wicked and some good, some easy-going and some harsh, and those in between."
Narrated by Abū Dawūd.

*📚 Topic: The first 10days of Dhul-Hijjah (3).*

Exalted is the Lord who created all that exists and peace and blessings upon his noble messenger who's the leader and most pious of who lived on earth.

In the previous part, I brought some Hadīth from the Prophet and his companions concerning these 10days of Dhul-Hijjah and give short satisfying explanations each. Here now I'm gonna end the discussion with some other things we need to know about these said 10days of Dhul-Hijjah as follows: 👇🏻

Ad-Dārimī in his Sunan (book of Hadīth) recorded that: *"whenever the 10days (of dhul-hijjah) arrives, Imām Sa`īd Bn Jubayr always make a lot or best of his efforts/zeal to perform a lot of worship".*

COMMENTARY:

Sa`īd Bn Jubayr was one of the greatest scholars among the Tābi`īn (i.e those who learnt from the prophet's companions) and thus He try to the best of his effort in these 10days coz of what he learnt and know of their virtues.

Thus, this is a case of study for everyone of us. We should try all our best to worship ALLĀH in these 10days of Dhul-Hijjah. *We should engage in things like "Nawāfil, Duā, Sawm (fast), Tilāwah (recitation of the Qur'ān, Adhkār, righteousness to the parents, charity and so on".*

And the easiest of all which has a great reward is *"Adhkār"* coz we can do it in any situation, whether sitting or standing or walking or driving or working or washing or even when lying down. And it was recorded from the prophet -(ﷺ)- in an authentic Hadīth that he told the man that asked him for what he can stick to that *"he should keep his tongue moistened with the remembrance of ALLĀH (i.e adhkār)".*

Let's all remember that these 10days are attributed great while they are in a great sacred month. Let's try all our best to please our Lord and be in the best state of purity on the Eid Day.

One of the saddening issues as said by some scholars is that; *"we found many of us striving hard in the last 10days of Ramadān but didn't even try hard in this 10days of Dhul-Hijjah not knowing that the last 10days of Ramadān are only great in terms of night while that of Dhul-Hijjah are great in terms of Daylight and Night while most of them are only striving hard in the daylight of Ramadān but not in its night and still slacking in this Dhul-Hijjah. That's Shaytān's deception, do not give him any chance so strive hard for the remaining days are still sufficient.*

I think I can just stop here.
