๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ท STOP BLAMING FIFA. EGYPT BLEW THIS THEMSELVES.๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ

Egypt led Argentina for a whole HOUR. 2-0 up. Against the world champions. On the biggest stage in football. That's not a small thing โ€” that's incredible. ๐Ÿ‘

Then in just 15 MINUTES, it was all gone. 3-2 Argentina. Game over. ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Yes, there were controversial calls. Yes, some decisions went against Egypt and the complaints are understandable. But here's what nobody wants to say out loud โ€”

ARGENTINA'S FIRST TWO GOALS? COMPLETELY CLEAN. No foul. No controversy. No VAR drama. Egypt justโ€ฆ switched off. ๐Ÿ˜ค

You cannot lead a World Cup knockout game 2-0 against Argentina and lose concentration at the most critical moment. That's not bad luck. That's not FIFA. That's a mentality collapse. ๐Ÿ’€

And the worst part? THIS ISN'T NEW. African teams โ€” Egypt included โ€” have shown this pattern over and over again. Brilliant when relaxed. Dangerous when free. But the moment they have something to protect? The fear creeps in, the shape falls apart, and the lead disappears. ๐Ÿ˜”

Blaming the referee is easier than facing the truth. The truth is Egypt had this game. They gave it away.

Fix the mentality. Fix the defending. Because the talent has never been the problem. ๐Ÿ™

Do you think Egypt threw this away or was it really FIFA's fault? Be honest in the comments!๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ”ฅ

You break premier league assist record finish, created the most chances in the whole of top 5 leagues(even with lesser games/competition played),you reach world cup finish, you turn ghost. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

All because no be only you be the main man for the team. Bruno loves playing in a setting where all goals and assists passes through him. If the team isn't built around him, his quality drops.

Declan Rice is having a better tournament than you. Even for a DM!!

Ronaldo/Portugal fans should accept the inevitable fact that Ronaldo isn't walking away from the Portuguese NT with the world cup because the midfield quality decides to drop in the biggest tournament in world football.

You can't have Vitinha, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva and Joรฃo Neves in midfield and you're playing like novice.

They face Spain next. A team with a very very solid midfield that decides the tempo of a game and how they want the game to go. If the Portuguese midfield alongside the coach doesn't solve the issue, they can count themselves eliminated even before the whistle blows.

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น PORTUGAL ARE THROUGH โ€” BUT SPAIN IS COMING!โš ๏ธ

What a dramatic night in Toronto! Portugal 2-1 Croatia, and they had to dig DEEP for it. ๐Ÿ˜ค

For 53 minutes, Portugal had the ball and did nothing with it. Then Perisic stunned them with a Croatia opener and suddenly the whole world was asking โ€” is this Portugal's exit? ๐Ÿ‘€

Martinez finally woke up. Gonรงalo Ramos came off the bench at the 63rd minute, Ronaldo stepped up and buried the penalty at 68' to level it โ€” and then, deep into stoppage time, Ramos powered home a header from Leรฃo's cross to send Portugal through. 90+4'. Dramatic. Chaotic. But they got there. ๐Ÿ™Œ

The substitutions saved Portugal. That's the honest truth. It took going a goal down and chasing the game for Martinez to unleash his attacking weapons. You can't keep doing that at a World Cup and expect to survive much longer. โฑ๏ธ

Because SPAIN IS NEXT ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ โ€” and Spain will not wait for Portugal to wake up. La Roja press high, they suffocate teams, and they punish every slow start. Portugal can't afford another passive first half against them.

More Ramos from the start. More Leรฃo. More aggression. Less waiting for things to go wrong before fixing them. ๐Ÿ”ง

The talent is there. The question is whether Martinez trusts it **before** the crisis โ€” not after. โšฝ

๐ŸŒ AFRICA AT THE WORLD CUP โ€” GIFTED ENOUGH TO WIN IT, BUT TOO AFRAID TO TRY๐Ÿฆ

Let's have an honest conversation about African football at the World Cup. Because this conversation is long overdue. ๐Ÿ‘‡

African teams have produced some of the most exciting football at every World Cup. Pace, flair, physicality, individual brilliance โ€” the continent has it all. Senegal tearing through groups. Ghana electrifying crowds. Nigeria's Super Eagles soaring. Cameroon's Indomitable Lions roaring. When African teams are locked in, they are genuinely thrilling to watch. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The moment an African team faces a BIG NATION โ€” a France, a Spain, a Brazil โ€” something changes. The tempo drops. The attack disappears. The team parks deep and plays for damage limitation. It's like they've already decided the result before kickoff. Suddenly the same team that played with freedom and confidence becomes scared, reactive, and almost apologetic for being there. ๐Ÿ˜ค

And the stats back it up. African teams consistently out-dribble, out-sprint, and match the creative output of top sides in the group stage โ€” then completely abandon that identity when the pressure is highest. The fear of losing big overrides the hunger to win. That's not a talent problem. That's a MENTALITY PROBLEM. ๐Ÿง

Coaches set up to "NOT GET EMBARRASSED" instead of setting up to WIN. And when you play not to lose at a World Cup, you almost always lose. ๐Ÿ’€

Then there's MOROCCO๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

In 2022, Morocco became the first African and Arab nation to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup โ€” and they did it by doing the exact OPPOSITE of what African teams usually do. They defeated Spain on penalties in the round of 16, then shocked Portugal 1-0 in the quarter-finals, sending Cristiano Ronaldo home in tears. They beat Belgium. They beat Canada. They were aggressive. They pressed. They counter-attacked with precision and they believed โ€” genuinely believed โ€” they could beat anyone in front of them. ๐Ÿ’ช

Morocco's medium-block defensive intensity and counterattacking prowess โ€” breaking not just with raw speed, but with passing and precision โ€” allowed them to compete with more talented sides. That's the blueprint. Not fear. Not parking the bus. Tactical intelligence, collective belief, and the courage to go for a win.

Morocco proved that African football doesn't need to shrink when the lights get brightest. They proved the continent has what it takes to go deep โ€” maybe even all the way โ€” if they simply TRUST THEMSELVES.

The talent has never been the problem. Africa produces world-class players for the biggest clubs on the planet every single season. The gap is belief, tactical courage, and the willingness to go out and impose themselves on a game rather than react to it.

The day an African team walks into a World Cup quarter-final or semi-final with the same fearlessness Morocco had in Qatar โ€” that's the day the whole world changes. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ†

Morocco showed it's possible. Now someone needs to follow. ๐Ÿ‘€

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Do you think an African team can win the World Cup in your lifetime? And which nation do you back to be the next Morocco? Drop your pick below!๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ”ฅ

MY POST MATCH ANALYSIS:
England are very lucky to come out with a 90min win against this defensive DR Congo team. They looked so defensively solid.

Harry Kane with two goals to rescue the team. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Marcus Rashford's performance is just another sign that he should never be integrated back into Manchester United's team. He needs to go show his skills elsewhere and not disrupt the building process of the team.

Anthony Gordon coming from the bench with two assists. Something Rashford failed to do over 60mins of playing time.

Great work from England. Congrats to them for advancing. In my next I'll talk about DR Congo and the mistakes African teams are always doing at the world cup tournament.

๐Ÿ”ด GROUP OF DEATH? ALL ARE DEAD. โ˜ ๏ธ

Group F had us fooled. Netherlands, Japan, Sweden โ€” three teams that looked dangerous enough in the group stage, and Tunisia who at least showed up. But when the knockout rounds came calling? Every. Single. One. Gone. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Netherlands topped the group with 7 points, scoring 10 goals, looking every bit like a dark horse. Japan went unbeaten through two draws and a win.

Sweden scraped through as one of the best third-place finishers. On paper, this group had teeth. ๐Ÿฆท

Then the Round of 32 happened โ€” and Group F collectively rolled over. ๐Ÿ’€

Netherlands? Out.

Japan? Out.

Sweden? Out.

Tunisia had already packed their bags from the group stage with zero points and a -10 goal difference โ€” they never even got a sniff. But we expected that. We didn't expect the other three to follow them straight to the airport. โœˆ๏ธ

Not one team from Group F made it to the Round of 16. An entire group โ€” wiped off the map. That's not a group of death. That's a group that died together. โšฐ๏ธ

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Which Group F exit shocked you the most? Drop your thoughts below and share this with a football fan who needs to see it! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ”ฅ
