“If I don’t do the works of My Father, then don’t believe Me.” (John 10:37)
Jesus set the standard—His life was marked by the supernatural power of God.We have too many titles that lack the power to back them up.Ministry today is challenging,largely because there is little evidence of God’s power.We’ve developed countless theological excuses to rationalize this absence.Ironically,no generation has talked more about power than ours,yet we rarely see it manifested.But may God restore true power to our generation.My call,therefore,is for a higher standard.When we declare, “God has spoken,” it should be backed by true power.There is sufficient power available through Christ and God is calling each of us to let His power flow through us.May we be available to answer that call.
