"We had some unusual giveaways in the first half. Apart from the Watkins situaiton they didn't have too much. We lose it with two individual giveaways.

🗣Noni Madueke: “We believe that this can be our year," he added. "Everyone’s got to take an extra step; physically, mentally, and in our performances on the training pitch and at the stadium. That’s our goal, to compete to win every single competition that we’re in. Carabao Cup, we’re in the quarter-finals, and we're first in the Champions League and the Premier League.

“I feel like we have the ability that we can do it. I feel like you can’t achieve anything if you don’t believe it from before, and we definitely have that belief. We just need to continue, not even staying the same, but continue reaching new levels and continue pushing ourselves and I feel like we’re on the perfect trajectory right now.”

Declan Rice on the increased confidence he has in himself since he joined : “I've got a lot of belief in myself now, a lot of confidence. I've always been confident but the manager here – and Nico Jover the set piece coach as well – they've been putting extra pressure on me to push me even more. They’ve been demanding more because they can see that I have the talent and they think I've got even more to come, and so do I.

“I really believe in that, I feel confident going into every game, so I just need to keep working hard, stay humble and improve. I'm still so young as well which is obviously a plus.”
