My name is Blessing Oduba and I want to start by being honest with you — I am not here because life was kind to me. I am here because I kept going even when it wasn't.
I have worked as a maid, a sales girl, in hotels, laundry services, finance, ushering, and even tried running my own buka in Lagos. Some things worked. Some didn't.
But every single experience taught me something I carry with me today.
Right now I manage a commercial kitchen, I am a new mum to the most beautiful six-month-old 🍼, and I still wake up every day caring for my family and my parents.
Life is full — and I wouldn't trade my story for anything.
