THE MORAL LESSON FROM OBINNA’S STORY 💔
Parents, please listen: never make a child feel unwanted because of their gender, appearance, ability, or anything they cannot control.
Obinna was so desperate for a son that he failed to see the value in the daughters already in his home. His actions left wounds that money, apologies, or years could not easily erase.
Children remember how their parents made them feel. A child who constantly hears that they are not what their parent wanted may grow up carrying that pain into adulthood.
Your children should never have to compete for your love. They should never feel that a brother, sister, or another child would have made them more valuable to you.
And parents, remember this: you are not only raising children; you are shaping adults. The words you speak, the way you treat them, and the love you show them can become the voice they carry in their heads for the rest of their lives.
Raise your children with love, acceptance, discipline, and equal value. A son is not more valuable than a daughter, and a daughter is not less of a blessing.
❤️ Love the children you have. Don’t destroy what you prayed for simply because it came differently from what you expected.
