Back in Uyo, when I first stepped into the Super Eagles camp, I went to collect a pair of boots from Kelechi Iheanacho. But his roommate at the time, a well-known player, tried to send me away.

Iheanacho wasn’t pleased with that. He immediately stepped in, stopped him, held my hand, and personally took me into his room.
