"I started an online business last December, I create good contents,...but I don't get many customers...please what should I do?"
Posting good content alone on social media isn't enough, actually it's just the beginning. It's just one aspect that can boost visibility and help you attract potential customers.
In the social media world, strategy is key. The right strategy consists of everything from your profile setup, the content you create, to how you engage with your audience etc.
If you have great content online but are struggling with visibility or sales, here are some things you might be missing that could be holding you back.
1. Are your contents truly quality?
If your content only focuses on promoting your products or services, there’s work.
Shift your focus to producing value-packed content that educates, entertains, demonstrates your products in action, and solves problems for your audience.
2. Are you engaging with your audience? Do you even know who your target audience is?
To gain potential customers, you need to interact with your audience by commenting on their posts. Encourage conversations by asking questions, leaving thoughtful and meaningful comments on their posts, and engaging in discussions within your niche.
3. Are you using hashtags and keywords?
If you are, are they relevant to your niche? Are they the keywords your audience might use to find you?
If not, you need to restrategize. Use relevant hashtags and incorporate keywords that make your content easily discoverable, leading to visibility, engagement, and possibly sales.
4.Collaborate with people in your niche
Not with those who do exactly what you do, but with those who offer complementary services.
As the saying goes, "Two heads are better than one"
Collaborate with others in your niche to help reach a broader audience over time.
Gaining customers online doesn't happen overnight.
Be patient and consistent in applying the right strategies, and you’ll see progress over time.
