I experienced immense joy the day I noticed the bestseller badge on my book on Amazon. The sales of my book soared from the moment it earned this badge.
Wondering why? There's a market principle that suggests people prefer buying products that others are already buying.
Furthermore, an Amazon bestseller badge is not easily obtained; a book must either be exceptional or undergo certain techniques.
Let me share with you the steps I took to achieve this remarkable result.

1️⃣Book Research
I conducted thorough research to find a title with low competition and high search volume.
You can also do the same by using (Amz suggestion expander and productor for merch by Amazon) free Chrome extension for your research.
Your competitor's number should not be more than 800, and the niche search volume should not be less than 50%

2️⃣Book Cover
The first thing a prospective buyer sees is a book cover. Your book cover should be top-notch. You can hire a graphic designer for that or use a Canva designer for it. What you will do is search for bestseller books in your niche, get the idea of how they design theirs, and design yours with the idea.
Please don't copy it because you would have an issue with Amazon, but get their concept and come up with a better cover for your book.

3️⃣Book Description
I see many people need to correct how they write their book descriptions.
You don't have to turn your description page into a place of discussion.
• Start with an attention-grabbing sentence that brings curiosity
• Talk briefly about your book and who your book is written for
• Highlight the benefits in your book in bullet form so that your prospective buyer can clearly see what is in for them
• End that with an action word of what step you want them to take with the promise of what they should be expecting after taking the step of buying your book

4️⃣Push with reviews
This step should come last after your book is live on Amazon; it's an important step that will increase your selling rate and could eventually give you a bestseller badge on Amazon.

It's about giving a copy of your book free on some platforms; they will read your book and make voluntary and honest reviews on Amazon that will boost your book performance.

Log in to a platform like pubby.co, register for 14-day free trials with them, and submit your book for a free review. You can choose to cancel your subscription before the 14 days elapse; by this time, you must have gotten some reviews.
Be ready to cancel the subscription before the 14th day unless you want to keep your subscription with them will cost $20 monthly subscription.

Why you are not making sales on Amazon KDP

When I started publishing, I published tons of books without a single sale, but ordinary people would have been discouraged and parked off Amazon

Instead, I research more, I learned and unlearned. Before I knew it, I started seeing sales every day until now.

Let me tell you a few things that became game-changers.

1️⃣ Book Research

Never try to rush to start a particular book if you have not done proper research on it. Take your time to research Amazon's best-selling books, Amazon's search bar, and some other free tools to know how profitable a book title and niche can be before writing on it.

2️⃣ Keywords Research

A bad book with visible keywords will sell more than a good book with bad keywords. Even though it's recommended to have a good book so you will have good reviews which enable you to sell more
Do proper keyword research. You can use the Amz Suggestion Expander Chrome extension and other free tools for your keyword research.

3️⃣ Quality over Quantity

A single adequately done book could sell a million times more than 1000 bad books.
Take your time creating a good book you can buy yourself.
