Travel Out If You Can – A Hard Truth We Need to Hear

Travel out if you can. I’m serious. Just leave the borders of Nigeria or Africa once, even if it’s just for a few weeks. You will begin to realize that 80% of the things we gather to pray and fast for are things that responsible governments in other parts of the world provide for their citizens without stress.

Let’s use the UAE (United Arab Emirates) as a case study.

Over there, citizens enjoy what many Africans have been taught to see as “miracles” or “divine breakthroughs.” Things we bind demons for. Things we sow seeds and pay offerings for. Things we cry for every night and call on heaven.

But here’s the truth many don’t want to hear:

Some of the things you think Satan is blocking are not Satan’s fault. Your government is the real Satan in the matter.

Here’s what the UAE government provides for its people — no special prayers needed:

1. Free Healthcare:
Every citizen gets full access to quality healthcare services, paid for by the government.

2. Free Education:
From primary school to university – education is free. And if you're smart, the government sponsors you to study abroad.

3. Housing Benefits:
Citizens receive land or homes, or get financial help to build. Imagine praying for house rent in Nigeria while someone in Dubai is collecting a house key from the government.

4. Job Opportunities:
The UAE government gives top priority to its citizens in employment. There are even job creation programs and monthly allowances for job-seeking citizens.

5. Social Welfare:
Poor? Unemployed? A widow? Disabled? The government supports you with monthly financial aid — no church vigil needed.

6. No Income Tax:
Citizens keep 100% of their salary. No hidden cuts, no “we will deduct 5% for processing.”

7. Marriage Support:
Getting married? The UAE government gives newlyweds financial grants. Yes, the government supports your wedding — not just with prayers, but with money.

8. Business Support:
Emiratis who want to start a business receive funding, training, and government contracts. No need to “sow seed for business breakthrough.”

9. Subsidies:
Fuel, electricity, water, and even food — many of these are subsidized for citizens. Meanwhile, in Africa, we pray over NEPA bills and fuel scarcity.

10. Retirement & Pension:
Even after retirement, UAE citizens live comfortably with full pensions and benefits.

These are not fairy tales. This is the reality in many developed countries. So next time someone says, “It’s the devil,” look deeper. Maybe it’s not the devil. Maybe it’s bad leadership and failed governance.

Travel if you can. Then you will understand that the problem is not your village people.

Sometimes, the “witch” you’re fighting is sitting in government offices with a fat salary, while you're sweating on the altar for what’s meant to be your basic right.
