Afikpo Again Celebrates Another Christmas Without Light; On The Christmas Eve, There Was No Light 😳
Even When We Think The Governor Has Intervened, The Situation Has Remained What It Used To Be!
The Few Periods The Light Appeared Was In The Night; In The Morning Through The Day, When The Light Would Have Been More Useful To Us For Business, It Would DISAPPEAR 🥺
It's Very Much Obvious That This Light Palava In Afikpo Is Seriously Shrouded In Politics, For Reasons Best Known To The Politicians!
That's Too Too Bad👎
If There's No Light In Afikpo During The Yuletide And New Year Celebrations, What It Means Is That The "Bring Back Our Light Campaign" Did Not Achieve The Intended Result. The Implication Is That We Would Do It Again, And No Politician Or Council Leader Would Be Able To Remote Us Again Till We See Light In Afikpo.
You Can't Use Our Brain Again To Achieve Your Selfish Political Points 🙄
Almost All Our Big Men And Bigwig Politicians Are At Home Now, Getting Ready To Embark On What They Tagged "UNITY WALK", Which They've Been Doing Since 2018.
Instead Of Coming Together To Talk On How They Will Give Afikpo A Facelift, Especially As It Concerns The Restoration Of Light In Afikpo, They Prefer Walking And Coming Together For Fun And Refreshments!
I Know That They Know That They Cannot Embark On Such A WALK In The Evening, Unless They Would Carry Their Lamps And Lanterns Because There's No Light In The Entire Afikpo.
Quite Pathetic And Unfortunate, These Big-time Politicans Are Not Perturbed At All About The Ugly Situation; Darkness Besieging Our Land, The Ancient City Of Afikpo.
Anyway, January Is Not Far; I Trust Ehugbo Youths!
