“I know Bola Tinubu very well. He’s a very determined person who thinks outside the box. He’s the most impactful Governor of Lagos. I wish I have someone who could back me up with Tinubu’s kind of politics….”

“President Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid for my open he'art sur'gery when all the people I approached for assistance shut their doors to my face, including my own Igbo people.

"I never shared the story until now, because people are wondering why I am supporting his reelection campaign and I also supported him in 2023.” - Kanu Nwankwo.

“Atiku is a nationalist. Obi is a regional champion" - Dino Melaye

"It may sound awkward. It may sound offensive. Obi is a good man. He’s my friend. I have respect for him. But he’s a regional champion,” Melaye said.

“And no regional champion in this country will ever be president.”

“Today, if you cast this election again, Peter’s highest vote will only come from the southeast,” Melaye said.

“Where is Peter’s structure in Katsina? Where is his structure in Borno? Where is his structure in Ekiti? Where is his structure in Ondo? That is what we are saying.

“But there is no state in this country that Atiku does not have a structure. Whether you like it or not, having been vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he has influenced a lot of people from different parts of this country. So, he has built structures over the years.

“Atiku started contesting the election in 2011. He ran for presidency against MKO Abiola in 1992. Over the years, he has built structures, and he has the experience. Today, Peter Obi doesn’t have that national structure.”

Reno Omokri shares 1996 photo of Tinubu, dismisses Atiku’s ‘90-year-old’ claim

Reno Omokri, Nigeria’s ambassador to Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua, has dismissed former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar’s claim that President Bola Tinubu is 90 years old.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Omokri shared a 1996 photograph of Tinubu and Dele Momodu, chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), arguing that the picture raised questions about Atiku’s claim.

Recall that the ADC presidential hopeful, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has dismissed concerns about his age ahead of 2027, while throwing a jab at President Bola Tinubu, claiming the President is 90.

In a BBC Hausa interview, Atiku was asked if being “nearly 80” by 2027 would affect his capacity to lead.

“Do I look to you like someone who has reached 80 years of age?_” he asked.

“You went and voted for someone who is 80, I mean 90 years old. How old is President Bola, 90?”

When the interviewer corrected him that Tinubu was not yet 80, Atiku fired back: “_Do I look to you like someone who has reached 80 years of age?”

Ambassador-designate Reno Omokri responded by posting a 1996 photo of Tinubu and Dele Momodu taken in London.

“If Asiwaju is indeed 90 years old, as recently alleged, then Dele Momodu must be in his eighties,” Omokri wrote.

“Does the gentleman on the right look 60? Does he even look 50? I have not altered this photo. Dele Momodu is alive to testify to its authenticity.”

Omokri added that it would be “morally unacceptable” for Momodu to stay silent while a former benefactor is accused of being a nonagenarian in poor health.

Atiku on coalition
The former Vice President also denied being an obstacle to the opposition coalition.

“That is a baseless accusation. I was the one who initiated the coalition. Nobody else. I, Atiku Abubakar, started it,” he said.

He noted that Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso were the only major figures who had left.

“It was just Kwankwaso… then he left. Yes, and also Peter Obi. The rest of us are still here continuing our work.”

Atiku said he remains optimistic that opposition leaders will still unite ahead of 2027.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to arraign the President of Miyetti Allah Kautal H**e, Bello Bodejo, over allegations of money laundering and terrorism financing involving approximately $2.53 million.

According to reports, the anti-graft agency's charges are linked to funds allegedly traced to Bodejo through a series of cash transactions that investigators claim may have violated Nigeria's money laundering laws and were connected to terrorism financing activities.

Court documents referenced in previous investigations indicate that Bodejo allegedly received large sums of money in cash through intermediaries, with investigators examining the source, movement, and intended use of the funds. The EFCC is expected to present evidence supporting the allegations when the matter comes before the court.

Bodejo, who heads the Miyetti Allah Kautal H**e socio-cultural organization, has previously faced terrorism-related charges in 2024 over the establishment of a vigilante group, although those charges were later withdrawn by federal authorities.

The forthcoming arraignment marks the latest chapter in ongoing investigations involving terrorism financing and financial crimes, as Nigerian authorities intensify efforts to track and prosecute individuals suspected of funding violent activities and unlawful networks.

As of the time of filing this report, Bodejo has not been convicted of the allegations, and the charges remain subject to judicial determination.

Sowore Dismisses Pressure Tactics, Says ‘Dying Tinubu Regime’ Cannot Stop Opposition Movement

Human rights activist and AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has described recent actions by the Federal Government as signs of desperation, insisting that they reflect weakness rather than strength.

In a strongly worded statement, Sowore claimed that the current administration is a "failing order" whose actions represent the final attempts to hold on to power in the face of growing public dissatisfaction.

According to him, Nigerians have witnessed similar political situations in the past and have ultimately prevailed against what he described as the abuse of state power.

Sowore urged his supporters, activists, and pro-democracy groups across the country to remain steadfast and committed to the struggle for justice, accountability, and democratic governance.

"I am unfazed by these developments, and neither is the momentum of our struggle," he stated, adding that the movement for political change remains strong despite ongoing challenges.

The activist further encouraged citizens not to lose focus or succumb to intimidation, expressing confidence that those fighting for reform would eventually triumph.

We Will Never Negotiate With Anyone Over Our Defensive Capabilities, President Pezeskhian of Iran

"If we did not have our missiles, which are for our self-defense, Israel and America would have plowed through Iran the way Gaza was plowed through, and they would have shown no mercy to the old or the young.

"They speak of human rights. It is a great lie.

"If we could not defend ourselves, they certainly would not have shown mercy to our country and would have destroyed our power.

"Therefore, we will never, under any circumstances, negotiate with anyone over our defensive capabilities."

-Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian:

No references no literature to be reviewed. So therefore, we personally disagree with the first PhD holder former president of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

The whole world is not conflicts/ crisis free planet. Religion and ethics differences have always been the beauty of any type of system of government everywhere.

Whereas, ours is just only "over sabi' lack of tolerance everyone is planning to be rich quick. And wanted to be relevant for life.

Cubana Chief Priest Unveils Branded Vehicles for Tinubu’s Re-Election Bid.

The celebrity barman and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has officially unveiled a fleet of custom-branded luxury vehicles designed to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

According to posts on his social media, the cars are fully customized with campaign colours, slogans, and bold imagery promoting the “Renewed Hope” agenda.

From sleek SUVs to high-end sedans, each vehicle screams money, power, and unapologetic alignment.

Cubana didn’t just show the cars, he flaunted them. In classic Chief Priest style, he paraded the branded convoy, turning what should be a political statement into a full-blown spectacle of wealth and loyalty.

The move has instantly split the internet. While some applaud him for standing boldly with the president and using his influence to mobilize support, many others are dragging him for aligning with a government they believe has worsened the svffering of ordinary Nigerians.

The bigger question on everyone’s lips is this: why is a nightlife entrepreneur and entertainer diving so deep into presidential politics with luxury assets?

Is this genuine belief in the leadership, smart business positioning, or simply another chapter in the long-running romance between Nigerian celebrities and those in power?

This development has sparked heated national debate on the role of celebrities in politics. Some argue stars like Cubana have every right to support any candidate they choose.

Others insist that when public figures with massive youth followings endorse incumbents amid widespread hãrdship, it sends the wrong message and waters down the voice of the people.

One thing is certain: these branded luxury vehicles are more than just cars. They have become moving billboards in a very expensive conversation about influence, loyalty, and accountability.
