🙆 I can still remember 2019 when I wanted to produce a movie. I had already informed Odunlade Adekola that I wanted to shoot a film and that he would be part of the production. He agreed without hesitation and said there was no problem.
Unfortunately, one of my girlfriends, who had promised to assist me financially, failed to do so. I had no choice but to call my director and discontinue the production because of financial constraints.
The following day, I was surprised when Actor Odunlade Adekola started calling me, asking when we were going to begin production.
I immediately told him we couldn't continue. I even lied to him that my child was in the hospital and that the situation was very serious.
Odunlade immediately told me to stop talking. He said he knew I was lying and informed me that he was coming to Ibadan for the production. However, he asked when I would pay him. I promised that I would pay him within two weeks.
True to his word, Odunlade came and assisted me. You won't believe it—I never paid him and spent years avoiding him whenever I saw him.
Last year, I became deeply ashamed of myself. I called Odunlade and asked him to send me his account details. To my surprise, Odunlade said he didn't even remember that I owed him money.
I was extremely ashamed of myself. This is just one example of the kindness and generosity that someone like Actor Odunlade Adekola has shown.
