A legend whose tentacles of honour spread across the North, South, East, and West of Nigeria.

One uncommon philosophy that shaped his life comes from the wisdom of Socrates, the founding father of Western philosophy. Chief Iwuanyanwu embraced the Socratic method—always asking the hard questions that challenged the status quo. He urged the government, his people, and others to think critically, to question the narratives of history, the assumptions, the coup, and the war.

All he sought was simple: reconciliation, the way forward, and peaceful coexistence.
