I'm sure you must have seen this face recently...
If you haven't, let me tell you her story.

Her name is Tracy Smith.
A young Liberian girl who just wanted to shine at the Miss Margibi Beauty Pageant, but unfortunately, her picture went viral for the wrong reason and she suddenly became the talk of social media — not for her talent, but for her face and makeup.

People mocked her looks.
They laughed at her jawline.
Some said things that could break even the strongest soul.

For two days, Tracy went quiet. She stayed away from social media, carrying the weight of insults from strangers who didn’t even know her.

But guess what?

Instead of being buried by bullying,

What they thought would destroy her,
Became a vessel of blessing.
The same picture that people used to mock her became the picture that opened doors of blessings.

In just a few days, she received opportunities some only dream about:

>> Heritage Cotton signed her as a model.
>> Popular Liberian star Frank Artus reached out to give her a role in his next movie.
>> Comedians like Keyshia and Lorpu Kolu in Liberia invited her to feature in their skits.
>> Mama Liberia asked her to join her acting scenes.
>> Liberian promoter Double H gave her one-year free access to karaoke nights with friends.
>> A makeup brand named her their ambassador.
>> Liberian Girl Beauty Lounge crowned her a diva and gave her free beauty services.

All this, for the same young woman who was mocked online just days earlier.

Indeed, life can be unpredictable.
Sometimes our blessings are covered in bullies, social media dragging, and public ridicule. After all, negativity gains more attention and brings massive unsolicited visibility.

It's almost becoming a pattern now.
It seems someone has to be bullied, dragged, or go viral for the wrong reasons before social media people would love and support them.

In the case of Tracy, one thing is clear: what was meant to break her has only made her stronger, richer, famous, and about to become a celebrity if well.

Congratulations to Naomie Pilula , if this is indeed in the works the Zambian lawyer who went viral after receiving hundreds of thousands of negative comments on a simple selfie she posted on Instagram.

Instead of bowing to the pressure or deleting the photo, she stood tall, embraced self-love, and turned the negativity into power. Today, the world is celebrating her resilience, courage, and beauty.

YOUNG ACHIEVERS AWARD.

Yesterday in my home state of Enugu, my people Ndi Igbo, through the prestigious Southeast Legends and Achievers Award , gave me the YOUNG ACHIEVER OF THE YEAR 2025 award.
If you’ve followed me here, you must have known that I have dedicated the last 11 years campaigning for the economic development of Ala Igbo as the only true way to Igbo prosperity and Southeast development. As a people, Ndi Igbo have contributed enormously to Nigerian and African development, but I believe the time has come for us to focus our attention, resources, and everything we have on developing our homeland—the Southeast of Nigeria, Ala Igbo.
According to Statisense and other data platforms, the Southeast is the most developed region in HDI and has the highest economic purchasing power in Nigeria.
We are all these and more, but I feel we haven’t done enough for our fatherland. That’s why I made a solemn promise to site all my businesses in the Southeast. My vision is to build locally and export to the world from here in Ala Igbo. Through MAIGA (MAKE ALA IGBO GREAT AGAIN), I’ve been at the forefront of this advocacy.
This award isn’t a surprise—it’s a pat on the back to do more. I want to go beyond building OHANAEZE FARMS , the largest fenced livestock ranch, ONYE IJE MOTORS, the most affordable and comfortable transport system, and VOICE OF THE EAST, the biggest Igbo digital media platform by reach.
I see a future where Ndi Igbo commit 10–20 years to building our region and making it the fastest-growing in the world, like in the days of my icon & mentor Dr. M.I. Okpara.
Thanks to for putting this together. I’ll keep supporting this award for life.
Together, we will MAKE ALA IGBO GREAT AGAIN.
