As a proud Yala man, this video genuinely makes me happy. ❤️
Seeing these beautiful women proudly come out one after another to say, “I am married to a Yala man from Okpoma, Yahe, Igabu…” is something worth celebrating.
To every woman who has chosen a Yala man as her husband, thank you for seeing beyond tribe and stereotypes and recognising the good qualities that many Yala men carry—strength, responsibility, resilience, family values and commitment.
And to my fellow Yala men, let this also be a reminder: we have a reputation to protect. Let us continue to treat our wives with love, respect, patience and dignity. A good Yala man should be known not merely by the community he comes from, but by the way he treats the woman he married, provides leadership in his home, raises his children and conducts himself in society.
To the women of Yala as well, you are equally a treasure. Our culture has produced strong, intelligent, hardworking and beautiful women, and you deserve men who will value and respect you.
So, to every woman out there who is wondering whether Yala men are good husbands, let the testimony speak for itself. 😂❤️
Yala men are good men. Yala women are good women. And when love, respect, understanding and responsibility come together, beautiful families are built.
Proudly Yala. Proudly Nigerian. ❤️
