The Voice of Truth, Light Being and Wisdom for Today from Proverbs 19:1-3, 8, 20, 23 & 27.
“Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than one who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. Also, it is not good for a soul to be without knowledge, And he sins who hastens with his feet. The foolishness of a man twists his way, And his heart frets against the Lord. He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days. The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. Cease listening to instruction, my son, And you will stray from the words of knowledge.”

✍🏾. We Cannot Ignore Morality And Integrity. Satan Is Ever Coming After Our Morals And Integrity. This Is The Bone Of Contention. The One That You Cling To And Uphold Determines Who Is It That You Worship. Therefore, It Is Better To Be Honest, Even If It Leads To Poverty, Than To Live As A Dishonest Fool. The Best Way To Live Is With Revelation-Knowledge, For Without It, We Will Grow Impatient And Run Right Into Costly Errors Of Judgement. There Are Some People Who Ruin Their Own Lives And Then Blame It All On God. We Should Never Emulate These Ones.

Therefore, Do Yourself A Favour And Love Wisdom. Learn All You Can, Then Watch Your Life Flourish And Prosper! Listen Well To Wise Counsel And Be Willing To Learn From Correction So That By The End Of Your Life You Will Be Known For Your Wisdom. When We Live A Life Of Abandoned Love, Surrendered Before The Awe Of God, Here Is What We Will Experience: Abundant Life. Continual Protection. And Complete Satisfaction; That Is Biblical Excellence! So, `YAHWEH Is Saying To You Now; Listen, My Child. Do Not Reject Correction Or You Will Certainly Wander From The Ways Of Truth.

Theme Of The Hour;
Functional Conditional Mind-Set That Fosters Operational Sound Mind For Biblical Excellence.
1. The Functional Sound Mind That Connects And Maintains The Consciousness Of God's Presence.
Job 29:1-6.

I personally love to study old covenant saints that lives the life that mirrors new covenant realities that we are supposed to manifest as sons of God. By sons, I mean both male and female sons. Sonship is all about maturity. And how on earth can we discuss maturity without sound mind.? It is to this effect that we shall be rubbing minds with Brother Job through two chapters of his book that I considered the most revealing in respect of the subject of our study. I call it “Functional Sound Mind for Biblical Excellence.”

“Job further continued his discourse, and said: Oh, that I were as in months past, As in the days when God watched over me;”

Brother Job opened this chapter with his remembrance of the days when God's counsel and presence illuminated his path; that is the season when he is walking in the consciousness of `YAHWEH as His God. What was it that he remembered; This is what he said: ‘I would like my life to be as it was before, many months ago. At that time, God took care of me.

“When His lamp shone upon my head, And when by His light I walked through darkness;”
Job said “He was my guide, as if he had a lamp to show me the way. His light kept me safe as I walked in dark places.”
“Just as I was in the days of my prime, When the friendly counsel of God was over my tent;”
I was strong and well. God was my friend and he protected my home.
“When the Almighty was yet with me, When my children were around me; When my steps were bathed with cream, And the rock poured out rivers of oil for me!”

At that time, Almighty was still with me. My children were near me. [ let us kindly note it here, that YAHWEH never left Job in principle, the devil was only permitted to do all that he did, but it was never without YAHWEH`s knowledge.]
I got plenty of milk from my cows, so that my life was easy. My olive trees gave me lots of oil.
Here is the summary of all that brother Job is saying in our hearing, so that we can confidently emulate him. Apparently as we are aware of his situation, season has dramatically changed for him, but he knew that things had been different before, so, by remembering the past season, he is like seeking to go back to the template that produced that glorious season.
He said, “Oh that I were as in months, “When God`s candle shined upon my head, as I was in the of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle. What does this mean for us.? It means that when we walks in `YAHWEH`s consciousness in His status as God over our life, that is the true state of a sound mind.
This is foundational; as soundness begins with God-consciousness. Job's excellence was not merely intellectual capacity; his mind operated under divine light and counsel. The mind of God is that we also operates accordingly, especially under this new covenant as the reality of the life that these wonderful saints of the old covenant gloriously and graciously presented.
So, for now, we have to look at the new covenant realities of these functional conditions. Under our New Covenant order and standard, the secret of soundness of our mind for biblical excellence is live to with Abiding consciousness of Christ as our Saviour and the Holy Spirit as Lord. This is what Jesus Christ explained to the disciples of the lamb shortly before He went to the cross. From John 15:3-5.

He told them; “The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. So, you must remain in life-union with Me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to Mine. “I am the sprouting vine and you are my branches. As you live in union with Me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you, but when you live separated from Me you are powerless.”

“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

Please Remember, keep it in mind that we are contrasting the functional conditions of Job`s sound mindedness; the season that favoured and made him excel and the other season, when he faced deterioration. The deterioration is in chapter 30 and it is quite striking: for he said, “God hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me”. His experience of God's relational nearness has become obscured. From the next set of articles, we shall be looking at those deteriorations and the attendant consequences.
Meanwhile, let us also consider the Holy Spirit`s Own side of being and living under `YAHWEH`s consciousness through the writing of Apostle Paul to the Colossians church from Colossians 3:1-6

Christ’s resurrection is our resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that is where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honour, and authority.! Yes, let us all feasts on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill our thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. Our crucifixion with Christ has severed the ties to this life, and now our true life is hidden away in God in Christ.
And as Christ Himself is seen for who He really is, who we really are will also be revealed, for we are now one with Him in His glory.! Let us therefore, Live as one who has died to every form of sexual sin and impurity. We are to live as one who has died to the desires for forbidden things, including the desire for materialism and wealth, which is the essence of idol worship. When we live in these vices we ignite the anger of God against these acts of disobedience.

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore, put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience”

Truth and Fact Check of the Day.
👉🏾 The Operational Principle Of A Sound Mind Is That We Are Not Merely Thinking Correctly; We Are Thinking From The Presence And Counsel Of God. As For Us, We Have All Of These Great Witnesses Who Encircle Us Like Clouds. Brother Job Is One Of Them. So, We Must Let Go Of Every Wound That Has Pierced Us And The Sin We So Easily Fall Into. Then We Will Be Able To Run Life’s Marathon Race With Passion And Determination, For The Path Has Been Already Marked Out Before Us.

We Look Away From The Natural Realm And We Focus Our Attention And Expectation Onto Jesus Who Birthed Faith Within Us And Who Leads Us Forward Into Faith’s Perfection. His Example Is This: Because His Heart Was Focused On The Joy Of Knowing That You Would Be His, He Endured The Agony Of The Cross And Conquered Its Humiliation, And Now Sits Exalted At The Right Hand Of The Throne Of God! Shalom. Shalom!

The Voice of Truth, Light Being and Wisdom for Today from Proverbs 18:1-2 & 10-12.
“A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment. A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own esteem. Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honour is humility.”

✍🏾. Do You Know That Prosperity And Wealth In The Kingdom Does Not Flow In Isolation.? If Your Prosperity And Wealth Only Affects And Benefits You, Then, That Cannot Be Deemed As Kingdom Prosperity And Wealth. In The Kingdom, We Are Only Stewards Of YAHWEH`s Endowments. We Will Yet Give Accounts. An Unfriendly Person Isolates Himself And Seems To Care Only About His Own Issues. For His Contempt Of Sound Judgment Makes Him A Recluse. Senseless People Find No Pleasure In Acquiring True Wisdom, For All They Want To Do Is Impress You With What They Know, Which Hardly Benefits Them, Not To Even Talk Of Anyone Else. Inside The Character Of YAHWEH Is Our Security And Wellbeing.
This Is Because The Character Of God Is A Tower Of Strength, For The Lovers Of God Delight To Run Into His Heart, They Prosper And Are Exalted On High. The Rich, In Their Conceit, Imagine That Their Wealth Is Enough To Protect Them. It Becomes Their Confidence In A Day Of Trouble. This Usually Results In False Hope Due To Transient Nature Of Worldly Wealth. A Heart Is The Proudest When His Downfall Is Nearest, For He Will Not See Glory Until The Lord Sees Humility.

Location And Access Into The Covenantal Dwelling Place Of Prosperity And Wealth.
6. The Pathway Of Becoming Established In The “Peaceful Place”.
Jeremiah 6:16.
“Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.”

Now, our place of peace is in the dwelling place of YAHWEH. That was the reason why at the creation of Adam and Eve, the garden was His dream place for their lives and existence. It was their error of judgement that drove them out of the place of peace. And to show that they had spiritually changed their addressed. They experience the pain of losing and burying one child on account of murder and from the same incidence, the loss of the other son through the pain of being cut off from blessing and the family for ever. And so, goes the story of mankind up until the coming, suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has now become the place of peace to every one soul that believes in Him.

So, Jesus Christ does not merely give believers things; He becomes our dwelling place. And since He is the creator of all things, we now have unrestricted access to all things, and that includes prosperity and wealth. To bring the people to this reality, YAHWEH calls for them to go back to the point where they had missed it, back to the cross roads and find your way back in that place of peace again. The cross roads is where the will of man and that of God stands at separate side. The ideal thing at that point is to allow YAHWEH to have His way. That is where you get to define Who Are You [ WAY] YAHWEH Said to his people: “Stand at the crossroads. Now, consider your way and ask for the ancient paths. Which is God’s way? Walk on His path, and you will enjoy a resting place for yourselves. But they said, ‘We will not. That is not the path we want.”

As it was under the old covenant, when YAHWEH kept calling back the people to the old path, so that they can enjoy and flow in the rest of God, Jesus Christ also through the teachings to His disciples and everyone that will believe in Him through their ministry, a similar call was made to make us realize the importances of maintaining the right path and place of Peace. The promise of rest and peace is never for those who promotes themselves to live an isolated life. It is to joined in life union with Jesus Christ, as the Messiah. He Said from John 15:1-5

“I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is My Father. He cares for the branches connected to Me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest. The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. So, you must remain in life-union with Me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to Mine. “I am the sprouting vine and you are My branches. As you live in union with Me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you, but when you live separated from Me you are powerless.

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

And now as Christ dwells, through the presence of the Holy Spirit in our heart through faith, His Presence and Power is producing fullness. This is the core piece of Apostle Paul`s message to the brethren at Ephesus. Let us look at a few of the highlight of his letter, beginning from Ephesians 3:14-20.

“For this reason, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,”
Apostle tells them here that the season and character of God supersedes everything. Even the negative things that has the right reason to be would be addressed through prayer to God as the head of our human family on earth. And what is the content of his prayer point.?
He prayed, for so, I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favour until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Now, how will the spirit of poverty get to survive the life of Christ burning in our heart? And He is not yet done; the purpose of the presence of the life of Christ is to help us to stand and operates in the comprehension of the multi-dimensional nature of the Love of God.

“may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

He said that it is only then that we will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences, the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding, this extravagant love pours into us until we are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”

The deal is that we no longer doubt God’s mighty power to work in us and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than our greatest request, our most unbelievable dream, and exceed our wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for His miraculous power constantly energizes you. From this point I conclude that I am equipped to experience the power of God in immeasurable dimension, and there is no one that can defeat or restrain me. His Power is already at work in me to accomplish all that I can ever ask or even think.
Returning to the old pathway is returning to YAHWEH. The primary condition for abiding inside the rest of YAHWEH is to hear and obey His Voice, while we stand in complete rejection of covetousness, walking in His truth, holding on to holy fear as we constantly chooses YAHWEH`s ways. Now, the attendant effect of all these means a life of rest, established in contentment, wholeness and covenant stewardship that secures fruitfulness and fullness. Can you see now that it is impossible for me to be poor. I can neither be poor, nor be sick. There is no provision for poverty and sickness in the covenant. The key is to learn to walk in step with the Spirit of YAHWEH that is residing in our inside.

👉🏾 The Highest Form Of Prosperity Is Not Possessing A Prosperous Environment But Dwelling In The Person Of The Holy Spirit, And Obeying The Order From Him As The One From Who True Prosperity Flows. And There Is Covenant Progression To It. This Involves Asking Him To Lead And Direct, That Then Leads To Discovery And The Motivation To Walking In It Until There Is An Entrance His Into Divine Rest. The Destination Is Not Simply Having More; It Is Dwelling In God's Good Way And Finding Rest Solely In Him. Therefore, In The Same Way That We Received Jesus Our Lord And Messiah By Faith, We Must Continue Our Journey Of Faith, Progressing Further Into Our Union With Him! Our Spiritual Roots Will Then Go Deeply Into His Life As We Are Continually Infused With Strength, Encouraged In Every Way.

For We Are Established In The Faith That We Have Absorbed And Enriched By Our Devotion To Him! [Beware That No One Distracts You Or Intimidates You In Their Attempt To Lead You Away From Christ’s Fullness By Pretending To Be Full Of Wisdom When They Are Filled With Endless Arguments Of Human Logic. For They Operate With Humanistic And Clouded Judgments Based On The Mindset Of This World System, And Not The Anointed Truths Of The Anointed One. That Is Why We Constantly See All These Arguments About Tithes And Offering. Those Misguided Folks Are Neither Rooted In Christ’s Love, Nor Are They Connected With The Life Of YAHWEH. Shalom.Shalom!

The Voice of Truth, Light Being and Wisdom for Today from Proverbs 17:1, 4-5, 10-11, 13 & 16
“Better is a dry morsel with quietness, Than a house full of feasting with strife.
“An evildoer gives heed to false lips; A liar listens eagerly to a spiteful tongue. He who mocks the poor reproaches his Maker; He who is glad at calamity will not go unpunished. Rebuke is more effective for a wise man Than a hundred blows on a fool. An evil man seeks only rebellion; Therefore, a cruel messenger will be sent against him. Whoever rewards evil for good, Evil will not depart from his house. Why is there in the hand of a fool the purchase price of wisdom, Since he has no heart for it?”

✍🏾. Nothing Grows Or Increases Outside Of The Atmosphere Of Peace And Tranquillity. The Fear Of The Lord Guarantee Peace And Tranquillity. That Is Why It Is Chaos That Rules Where The Fear Of The Lord Has Been Neglected. Therefore, A Simple, Humble Life With Peace And Quiet Is Far Better Than An Opulent Lifestyle With Nothing But Quarrels And Strife At Home. Those Eager To Embrace Evil Listen To Slander, For A Liar Loves To Listen To Lies.

When You Mock The Poor, You Insult Your Creator Every Time You Do! If You Make Fun Of Other People`s Misfortune, You Had Better Watch Out, Your Punishment Is On Its Way. One Word Of Correction Breaks Open A Teachable Heart, But A Fool Can Be Corrected A Hundred Times And Still Not Know What Hit Him. Rebellion Thrives In An Evil Man, So A Messenger Of Vengeance Will Be Sent To Punish Him. The One Who Returns Evil For Good Can Expect To Be Treated The Same Way For The Rest Of His Life. Why Pay Tuition To Educate A Fool? For He Has No Intention Of Acquiring True Wisdom. It Is Better Not To Cast Precious Pearls Before Swine.

5. The Pathway Of Refusal To Walk The Shameful Ways By Returning To The Fear Of God.
Jeremiah 6:15-16.
“Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore, they shall fall among those who fall; At the time I punish them, They shall be cast down,” says the Lord.”

The people had lost their capacity for holy shame. Their prosperity problem was ultimately a character problem. Where sin becomes normalised, covenant rest is displaced. Conversely, Scripture repeatedly associates the fear of the Lord with a place of security, provision and flourishing. The fear of the Lord is the place of covenant prosperity and wealth. “Although they have acted shamefully and committed abhorrent acts, they feel no shame; they don’t even know how to blush. They will fall among the fallen and stumble in their time of reckoning, I, YAHWEH, have spoken.”
Whenever YAHWEH speaks, His Voice ought to command reverential respect and obedience;
YAHWEH Said to his people: “Stand at the crossroads. Now, consider your ways and ask for the ancient paths. Which is God’s way? Walk on HIS path, and you will enjoy a resting place for yourselves. But they said, ‘We will not. That’s not the path we want.’”

Of what use is our calling Him our God when we do not have the heart to follow and obey Him.? Can you imagine, the people in our text has the audacity to even tell Yahweh to His face “we will not follow Your counsel.”

“Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”

From time immemorial, we have seen cases and cases of people who, out of their ignorance occasioned by their darkened state of mind, and were seen as taking a stand against God. But their end is usually that of defeat when they come face to face with the consequences of their actions. Some die, but some obtain mercy. just like a certain Saul of Tarsus, who stood as guard and keeper of the clothes of those who mob stoned Stephen to death as the first saint to be martyr for the witness and testimony of the resurrected Christ. Saul`s case turned out to be the case of overzealous religion, for he taught that his actions were actually that of someone doing God a real good turn by persecuting the church. Saul`s actions breached the peace and tranquillity for the church at that moment, until YAHWEH steps in and shut him down, leading to his conversion to the Way of Life. And we read from Acts 9:31 that After this, the church all over Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced a season of peace. The congregations grew larger and larger, with the believers being empowered and encouraged by the Holy Spirit. They worshiped God in wonder and awe, and walked in the fear of the Lord.

“Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.”

YAHWEH is in complete control of all the affairs of the earth as His colony. He has never lost control of the earth even for once. In those season that it might even appears as if evil and darkness were going to prevail. At every nick of time, YAHWEH steps in and takes His Glory.

Take for instance, on the day of Pentecost was the season that brought the physical earthly ministry of Jesus Christ on earth to its final end. After His resurrection and ascension, within the period of those fifty days after the Passover, Jesus kept coming back to earth to teach His disciples the “things about the Kingdom.” Never for once did He revealed Himself at that time to any gentile individual or group of people.
In fact, it was when the Greeks began to seek Him that He knew the time of the cross has arrived. Remember, He told the disciples, that He has been sent only to the house hold of Israel.

But from the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit arrived and began to indwell people from all over the nations of the world that had converted to Judaism. So, as it were, no Gentile person, who has not converted to Judaism has received the Holy Spirit. But then the season for that has arrived. And YAHWEH strategically picked a roman military officer. A centurion and also designated Apostle Peter to conduct the introduction of the “Total Gentile Nations” to the Holy Spirit, using the military officer and his household first recipient. Let us join the introduction party from
Acts 10:29-35, even as Apostle Peter introduced first himself and his entourage as being invited by the roman military officer; “So, when you sent for me, I came without objection. Now, may I ask why you sent for me?”

Cornelius replied, “Four days ago I was fasting and praying here in my home at this very hour, three o’clock in the afternoon, when a man in glistening clothing suddenly appeared in front of my eyes. He said, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayers. Your generosity to the poor has been recorded and remembered in God’s presence. However, you must send for a man named Simon, the Rock, who is staying in Joppa as a guest of Simon the tanner, who lives by the sea.’

So, I immediately sent my men to bring you here, and you were kind enough to come. And now, here we are, all of us in God’s presence, anxious to hear the message that God has put into your heart to share with us.” Peter said, “Now I know for certain that God doesn’t show favouritism with people but treats everyone on the same basis. It makes no difference what race of people one belongs to. If they show deep reverence for God, and are committed to doing what is right, they are acceptable before Him. Please notice that phrase, when we are committed to doing what is right in reverential respect and trust of Him, we are acceptable to Him.

“Therefore, I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. I ask, then, for what reason have you sent for me?” So, Cornelius said, “Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God. Send therefore to Joppa and call Simon here, whose surname is Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea. When he comes, he will speak to you.”

So, I sent to you immediately, and you have done well to come. Now therefore, we are all present before God, to hear all the things commanded you by God.” Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”

Divine Increase are deemed to come solely from the actions and operation that is fuelled and motivated by the love for the fear of the Lord.

These Spiritual Investments Will Provide A Beautiful Foundation For Their Lives And Secure For Them A Great Future, As They Lay Their Hands Upon The Meaning Of True Life.
