*Topic*: The Law Of The Spirit
*Memory Verse*: “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” *James.1:25*
*Inspirational Stream*: A law is a command designed to be consistent and tenacious. This means that alaw is anything that has tenacious influence and it is consistently so. And one of the ways leaders governis by enacting laws. Every nation is governed by the laws of the land and every law is restricted to the jurisdiction they govern. Similarly, there are laws in the realms of the spirit. And these laws dictate theconfines of the activities of these realms.
Asides governmental laws, there are laws of nature as well. The law of nature influences the 24houroccurrence of everyday, the boundaries of the sea from land, the habitats of every creature etc. but the
man in Christ has been blessed with the highest of all the laws, and this is the law of the spirit of life. Thistalks about the spiritual enforcement of everything Jesus paid for on the cross. When Jesus died, he paid
our way out of bo***ge and set us at liberty. Hence everyone who believes is no longer bound by thelaw of bo***ge, but is now under the law of liberty. So the law of liberty is everything that is workingtogether to ensure that those who have been delivered from bo***ge are kept at liberty. And to ensurethis, God gave His Spirit to enable the believer enforce his liberty. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of liberty.When you engage yourself praying in the spirit or by being yielded to the spirit, you cannot walk inbo***ge.
The powers of this world no longer have tenacious hold on you. If you were held down by sickness, it
cannot have tenacious hold on you anymore because you are not under such laws. You are under the lawof liberty. You are set at liberty from lack, oppression and fear. Every form of bo***ge has lost its powerover you.
