Three days ago I shared a picture of me helping my last son with his homework.
Just a normal parenting moment.
But someone dropped a comment that made me pause.
They asked:
‘Where is his left hand going anyway?’
For a second I almost responded with anger… but then I realized something.
On social media, some people intentionally leave suggestive or provocative comments just to get a reaction.
The truth is simple:
Some people see innocence.
Others see what reflects their own mindset.
That picture was nothing more than a mother helping her child with his homework.
Moments like that are normal in many homes.
But it made me wonder…
Why do some people feel the need to $€-xualize innocent situations involving children?
Do you think social media is making people read too much negativity into normal life moments?
