Welcoming Jesus into your boat.

The disciples were embarking on their journey at night without Jesus physical present in the boat with them yet. Life often brings sudden storms, financial pressure, emotional exhaustion or unforseen trials that leaves us rowing against fierce head winds .
Being on a journey following God call does not mean, we will never face rough waters.
But being a storm does not mean God has forgotten us. Jesus did not just calm the sea from afar , he walk on top of the very wave that was threatening to swamp away the disciples boat. What seems like it will swallow us up is under the feet of Jesus. The disciples were initially frightened when they saw Jesus walking on the sea. Often God comes to us in ways we don't immediately recognized or expect. Causing us to react in fear rather than faith.
The very circumstances that terrifies you is often the platform Jesus uses to manifest his glory and power.

A short prayer🙏
Lord Jesus, thank you that no storm is too dark for you to reach me. Forgive me for relying on my own strength, today I open my heart and welcome you into my boat. Speak peace to my heart, banish my fears, and lead me safety to where you want me to be Amen🙏

Total surrender and spiritual witness.

In this passage, Jesus outlines the nature of true ministry. Shifting the focus away from self reliance and pointing directly to alignment with God the father.
" I can do nothing on my own, because I seek not my own Will, but the Will if him who sent me " Verse 30 .
True spiritual power and righteous judgment do not come from human intelligence, ego or self interest. Jesus demonstrate that effective ministry begins with listening to the Father and aligning our desires entirely with his Will. Before taking action or making any decision we should ask ourselves" Am I seeking my own glory will, or am I listening to God direction? .
Self validation is short lived and fragile. Jesus did not rely merely on his own words to prove who he was. He relied on the witness of the father and the fulfillment of God's work.
We believers we don't need to exhaust ourselves trying to self promote or prove our worth to others. We should allow our Godly character, faith and testimony of God's work in our lives to speak on our behalf. May God bless his words, Amen🙏.

This day remembering. Phone📱, talk.

Calling upon God, in the dark places.

" Have regards for the covenant for the dark places of the earth are full of of the habitation of the wicked " Psalm 14;20 .

There are season when life feel overwhelming, when darkness seems to pres in from every side. Abd when the vulnerable, weak or weary feel preyed upon by circumstances beyond their control. Psalm 74 , is a passionate cry from a heart that refuses to give up on God. Appealing directly on his character, his promises, and his covenant.
When we feel vulnerable, God does not ask us to pretend to be strong in our own power. He invite us to bring our helplessness to him. We are precious in God's sight, and he is a shield for the humble and afflicted.
Notice the psalmist plea " Have regards for the covenant " When darkness or opposition surrounds us, our greatest anchor is not our current feelings or circumstances, but God's unwavering covenant promises. God bound himself to his people through his word , Through Jesus Christ. We are under the eternal covenant of grace, mercy and protection. So when we pray we remind God of his promise, not because he forgets, but because it grounds our faith. God desire is not for the downtrodden to return in shame or defeat, his purpose is to turn our affliction into a testimony, so that the poor and the needy praise his name. Our current trial is not the end of the story, , God is in the business of restoring hope, bringing dignity and feeling our mouth with the songs of praise.

A short prayer🙏
Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up every area in our lives that feels surrounded by darkness, pressure or uncertainty. Lord remember your covenant of peace, mercy and protection over us.
Do not deliver your people to the power of the enemy, shield the vulnerable, comfort the broken hearted and lift up does who feel downtrodden. Where there have been shame, bring honor and joy . Where there is weaknesses, supply your supernatural strength.
Arise oh Lord, defend your cause in our lives, our families, and our communities.
Let every situation intended to bring defeat be transformed into a praise to your holy name. in Jesus mighty name Amen🙏.

This passage John 4:16-22 .
The encounter at the well, is a deep ministration on truth, mercy and true worship.

Jesus meets a Samaritan woman alone at Jacobs well at noon. Jews and Samaritan has no dealing, and a Jews Rabbi will not ordinarily speak alone with a woman in a public. But Jesus breaks protocols because her soul matter more than tradition.
Jesus did not expose her to shame her . He reveals his knowledge to show her that she can not hide from him. And she does not need to hide. She came to draw water at noon, probably to avoid other women. She was carrying rejection and emptiness. Jesus show her that he knows her past, he knows her present and that he is still present talking to her.
The living water is not for perfect people, the first person Jesus clearing reveals himself as Messiah is not a Pharisees, but a broken woman with a complicated marital history. Our past does not disqualified us from an encounter.
When conviction came the woman quickly change the topic to a religious argument. " Our father worship on this mountain, but you said that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship. " This is what many of us do, when God touches our hearts, we bring up denominations, tradition, church history.
Jesus did not enter the argument, Jesus was telling her, worship is no longer about' Where , but How and Who. God is not looking for a temple or a mountain. He is looking for a heart. True worship is not tied to a location, a mountain or even Jerusalem. It is tied to a relationship with the Father, through Jesus Christ, in spirit and in truth. You can worship in your kitchen, in your room , wherever you are , if your heart is sincere God will receive your prayers.
We as believers should stop pretending like the woman that said " I have no husband " . Honesty is the beginning of deliverance. .

A short prayer🙏
Father thank you for seeking me even when I tried to hide. You know all about me and you love me still, today I receive your living water. Let it fill every empty place in my life. Teach me to worship you not just with my lips but in spirit and in truth. Use my life as a testimony to bring others to you in Jesus name Amen🙏

True worshippers in spirit and truth.

Scripture reading in John 4:22-26 .
Jesus begins by telling the Samaritans woman that she must be grounded in knowledge " We worship what we know " . Many people worship out of routine, emotions or tradition without truly knowing who they are worshiping. Genuine worship requires a direct revelation of God through his word and his Son , Jesus Christ.
God is not merely looking for act of worship, external ritual or specific physical locations ( like mount Garizim or Jerusalem) God is actively seeking for true worshipers. What makes us a true worshipers, is worshiping God from the heart and been guided by the Holy Spirit beyond physical structures, external forms or religious performance. Worshiping according to who God is, aligning our hearts with God revealed truth in Christ in honesty, sincerity and integrity.
True worship always leads us to the person of Jesus , he is the ultimate revelation of the Father and worship is our direct response to recognizing him as the Messiah and savior of our lives.

A short prayer🙏
Heavenly Father, thank you for seeking us out to be a true worshipers. Help us to draw near to you not just by our lips, but with our entire heart. Teach us to worship you in spirit and the truth, unafraid, sincere and fully surrendered. Open our eyes to see Jesus clearly everyday that our lives may be a continual offering of praise to your holy name, in Jesus Almighty name Amen🙏.
