This is a warning that the word of God is giving to us through the Spirit of God : The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth!

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ speaking in John 16:13 said - “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

Hear this: We must be careful to walk in the word of God, and allow the Spirit of truth to guide us, to teach us, to show us things to come! The Spirit of truth walks with the word of God!! He will not walk outside the word of God!!!

Therefore, how do you know that somebody has departed from the faith? When the person is no more preaching the truth and living in the truth; such a person has departed from the faith and is already giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. Because by their fruit you shall know them.

2 Thessalonians 2:4 says expressly -
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition."

Beloved! The signs of the end times are already here: false prophets and false teachers are here. They have departed from the truth and are causing people to derail from the truth: through their teachings and practices.
Let no man deceive you! Refuse that any will take you away from the truth!!

Gracious Father, I thank you because your grace is sufficient for me, and your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Whenever I am weary, discouraged, or overwhelmed, let your mighty power uphold and strengthen me. Help me to depend completely on you rather than on my own understanding or ability. Fill me with fresh courage, unwavering faith, and the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome every challenge and fulfill the purpose you have ordained for my life. _*📖For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth… (Romans 1:16).*_

It’s possible for someone to believe in Jesus and yet not truly understand what the Gospel is. This is why the Apostle Paul, writing to Christians in Rome, said, “I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.” These were Christians, yet he still needed to preach the Gospel to them.

That tells you something profound: the Gospel is more than the mere announcement of Jesus Christ; it’s a revelation that must be understood. Many say they’re preaching the Gospel, but not everything said in the name of Christ is the Gospel. The Gospel has a definite content, a definite power, and a definite purpose.

Paul defines it clearly: “it is the power of God unto salvation.” That means the Gospel isn’t just a message; it is God’s power in operation—His dynamic ability to save, transform, deliver, and establish in righteousness everyone who believes. If you want to experience God’s power, you must understand the Gospel because that’s where His power is revealed.

Then comes the deeper truth: _*“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed…”*_ (Romans 1:17). The righteousness of God is unveiled in the Gospel. Until a man understands the Gospel, he cannot truly know God's righteousness. Many desire to be right with God but they don’t understand the Gospel that reveals it.

That’s where we come in. As we preach and teach the Gospel, the righteousness that is of God, one that comes from Him, not from man, is unveiled. This righteousness makes you right with God, gives you boldness in His presence, and establishes you in dominion.

Furthermore, the Bible says this righteousness is revealed _*“…from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith”*_ (Romans 1:17). This means it’s a progressive unveiling

MESSAGE:
I am always concerned when I see married couples who don’t spend quality time together.

Many of such couples spend the whole day away from each other at work and only come home to sleep at night, then they are off again in the morning.

Even on weekends, they either go to work again or attend other engagements without their spouses.

This ought not to be so because when you truly love someone, you will always find a way to spend quality time with him or her, and the more time you spend together, the more your love will blossom.

Years ago, a woman who was sick confessed to me that she actually didn’t want to be healed because when she was hale and hearty, her husband wasn’t spending quality time with her.

However, now that she was sick, he always returned home immediately after work.

Husbands and wives should not abandon their spouses because of work or any other commitment. They must spend quality time with them to build strong bonds.

Married couples must also pray together. It is unfortunate that some married couples hardly ever pray together.

BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 61:1-4

1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

MESSAGE:
In John 19:16-17, some Roman soldiers were leading Jesus to Golgotha to be crucified, and they made Him carry a heavy cross. He had been thoroughly beaten earlier and must have been very weak, yet they made Him carry this heavy burden by Himself. On the way, they met a man from Cyrene named Simon, and I believe that God prompted them to compel him to assist Jesus in carrying the cross to the place He was to be crucified (Matthew 27:32). Simon is an example of a burden bearer; he helped Jesus to lift His heavy burden.

Beloved, Jesus Christ wants to help you carry every burden that might be weighing you down. This is why He said that you should come to Him with whatever burdens you may be carrying so that He can relieve you of them and give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
