I am a Photographer. I am a Storyteller

A lot of people, over the years have giving different definitions to Photography which is cool. You get to see tons of these definitions when you type the word “photography” on google.

I remember my first day in photography class when the lecturer asked all the students to give an inspired definition of “photography”; it was time consuming, but also entertaining as many had something interesting to say about their craft.

For me, “Photography is the story i fail to put into words.”

As a professional Photographer, I always don’t fail to ask my client what/why/where/how they want their images... It forms the basis for every decision I take going forward as regards that project. It’s always been about creating that indelible and compelling story in every frame captured. The story is as important as the aesthetics; but if I have to choose one over the other, I’ll go with “the story” because it remains many years after the excitement about the aesthetics is all gone. Moreso, many other beautiful aesthetics will always be created but that story can NEVER be.
