The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Owolabi Olakulehin, has just passed at the age of 90. He was the 43rd occupant of the revered throne.

He became the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadan land in July 2024 after the death of Oba Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun, Ali Iwo II.

He ascended the throne in July 2024 and d!ed in the early hours of Monday after spending a year on the throne.

The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.

Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on July 12, 2024, as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Former Oyo State Governor Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja is next in line to the throne of Olubadan of Ibadan Land.

Iwuanyanwu family says report claiming the late industrialist's Will included clause restricting his wife from remarrying is "false and misleading".

The Iwanyanwu family have cleared the air concerning late Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu including in his Will a clause that his young wife would lose her inheritance if she remarries.

The claim was disputed in a statement released by Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu's family and signed by the Executors of his Last Will and Testament.

According to the statement, Iwuanyanwu’s Will was misrepresented in the viral report which "has no proofs or linked to actual facts".

Lady celebrates as she shares the business she started with NYSC allowee in 2020 grows into a full brand

A former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Gladys Adija, has transformed her sma!l foodstuffs business into a thriving brand.

Adija's journey began in 2020 when she saved her NYSC allowance to invest in her passion for food entrepreneurship. Her business has now grown into a full-fledged brand.

She expressed her gratitude and disbelief at the rapid growth of her business as she reveals that the NYSC has taken notice of her success and is eager to collaborate with her.

She wrote;
“We got a call from NYSC today, I am speechless.God has done it for me.😭🙌❤️

The business I started with my NYSC Allowance savings in 2020 has grown into a full brand and they are hoping to work with me.

Who would have thought that the idea of saving my allowance to go into food business was going to become the beginning of my breakthrough.

Who would have thought that the cr@zy young corper who was carrying tomato on her head in Faringada market was going to go this far.

God I am very grateful. This just had to be you.” she said.
