I don't understand how some people feel comfortable fighting for their God. The sanctity of human life should never be compromised under any guise.

I haven't read the Quaran, but I have heard on several occasions that there's nowhere in the Quaran that Prophet Muhammad SAW mandated his followers to kpai anyone who disrespect him.

I don't think illiteracy is responsible for Wahabism or extremism in the north. Religious extremism is hardly practiced in the south west or north central except Niger state.

When will people allow their God to fight for himself?

Western media are trying to incite religious crisis in Nigeria. The insurgency in Nigeria particularly in the north isn't sectarian in nuture. Both Christians and Muslims are victims and government is too weak to stop the incessant attacks.

The farmers/herders crisis in Plateau and Benue may appear sectarian, but it is not. The murderous herdsmen are not attacking Plateau or Benue because their people are mostly Christians. Their motives are survival and conquest.

In the north east and north west where terrorism and banditry are visible in some states like Borno, Zamfara, and Kastina, etc., Muslims are more targeted than Christians.

Fox News and Co should stop with the oversimplification of the issue, it is a false narrative.

I have learned the hard way that when you see a red flag, even if it looks pink or soft, you must take it seriously. Do not make excuses. Do not tell yourself stories to make it feel less than it is. Run, because it will only grow into pain.

I stayed too long, I went back and forth, I doubted myself. And in the end, I was played. That experience left a scar, but it also gave me wisdom. Today, I tell myself and anyone listening, stop ignoring what your spirit is already telling you. Do not wait for heartbreak to confirm what your heart already knows.
