'EXPECT DISASTROUS CALAMITIES' - MIKE BAMILOYE WARNS

Popular Gospel Actor and founder of Mount Zion Films Productions, Evangelist, Mike Bamiloye, has issued a stern warning about the catastrophic events that would unfold in the world while calling enemies of the church to order.

In a recent post on his official page, the man of God highlighted the impending calamities that await the world, particularly those who refuse to acknowledge the lordship of Jesus Christ.

According to him, anyone who speaks ill of the church and ministers of God, will give account for what he or she said.

In his words, he wrote, "The world is awaiting disastrous calamities. If you know that every single rubbish you said against God, against the church of Christ and against God's true and genuine labourers of his vineyard, you will be asked why you said it and you will give account on all you wrote to fight against God and his people.

"If you know what is coming ahead of all those, who refuse to acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus now, you will be scared and run for safety under the shadows of his wings.

Obi Reacts To The Brutal Murder Of Emir Of Gobir, Alhaji Isa Bawa

I received with deep shock and sadness, the news of the brutal murder of the Emir of Gobir, Alhaji Isa Bawa, who was kidnapped and killed by bandits after a ₦60 million ransom demand was not met. This incident highlights once again the escalating insecurity in Nigeria, where even a revered figure like the Emir can be subjected to such treatment. The unchecked killings have gone on for far too long, leading to this tragic point. I urge security agencies to intensify their efforts to address this growing menace.

I sincerely commiserate with the family, the people of Gobir, Sokoto State. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannat al-Firdaus (paradise) as his final abode. -PO

A Chinese investment group, Zhongshang Fucheng Industrial Investment Ltd, is increasing its efforts to recover $70 million in arbitration settlement from Nigeria. The company has announced plans to auction two residential properties it seized in the United Kingdom to raise the outstanding funds.

The properties, located in Liverpool, were acquired in June 2024 following a court order granted to Zhongshang in December 2021. The order authorized the company to seize Nigerian assets in the United Kingdom to satisfy the arbitration judgment, which stemmed from a dispute with Ogun State.

The Chinese company had dragged Nigeria before the arbitration panel in the UK in 2018, accusing Nigeria of allowing its federal organs like the police, immigration and export processing authority to be deployed by Ogun State without due process. Court documents revealed that two Zhongshang executives were expelled from Nigeria between mid and late 2016 after one of them had allegedly been detained and tortured by the police.

The case has once again thrown Nigeria into confusion, barely months after the country luckily escaped a similar arbitration decision that awarded over $11 billion to a consortium called P&ID. The arbitration verdict was thrown out after it was later discovered that P&ID owners were involved in bribery and corruption.

According to the Chinese Company, Ogun State violated a trade treaty between Nigeria and China by rescinding its rights to a free trade zone in 2016. The company has been pursuing legal action against Nigeria in various jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, and the United States.
