: 1 Corinthians 13:13

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

2. Give People Genuine Love

Jesus said in John 13:34:

Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

Christian love is not only about loving people who love us.

It means loving even when it is difficult.

Some people need your encouragement.
Some need forgiveness.

Text: 1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Introduction:
Life gives us many opportunities to give. We can give money, gifts, food, advice, opportunities, and material possessions. But as Christians, there is something greater than all these things.
The greatest gift we can give is love.
Jesus did not only teach us to love. He demonstrated love by giving His life for us.

John 3:16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God's love was expressed through giving.

1. Give God Your Life

Romans 12:1 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Brother and sister, the first and greatest gift we can give God is ourselves.
God is not primarily looking for our money, talents, or possessions. He wants our hearts.
Give Him:
-Your time
-Your talents
-Your plans
-Your future
-Your decisions
-Your entire life

A life surrendered to God becomes a vessel through which God can bless others.

God bless you all as we centre our heart on God.
