Who's To Be Blamed???

This event happened yesterday, Sunday 29th June, 2025, after I was contacted last week Sunday, 22nd June, 2025.

So, I accepted to cover up for a friend, and colleague in the industry, who miscalculated his steps in his service deliverables, and needed urgent assistance.

Though I had to set the records straight, correct his errors, because I don't do such express job and more importantly, on a pantry service fee.

Only to later; a day to the event, receive the message of service disengagement, for what I even accepted oo, to cover up for a friend, who also even added his personal money oo. (1st attached screenshot).

Probably his client was cojoled abi jinxed by whoever, that MC XYZ is a better choice, even after my friend; who happens to be his event manager, had told him about me, and even added his personal money for me to assist him, as the amount his client offered was very 'huge'.

Yesterday was the event.

This Afternoon, I chatted and later called my friend to ask him how the event went.

The 2nd attached screenshot is/was his response.

Let me not tell you all what he said to me on the phone, as the one he already typed as attached on this post summarizes it all.

Watch Out For A Similar Scenario, A Corporate Event that went south...all because the 'MC' has/had '100,000,000,000' followers on his Instagram page.

I'm sure some Agency can relate to my assertion.
