The Stranger at Night – Episode 7: Face to Face

Darkness swallowed the room.

David's hands trembled as he desperately tried to switch his phone's flashlight back on.

Click... Click...

Nothing.

Then, a deep voice echoed from the corner.

"You should have left when you had the chance."

David stepped backward until his back hit the wall.

Suddenly, the flashlight flickered to life.

Standing before him was a tall man dressed in a black coat, his face hidden beneath a hood.

"You've been following me," David said, trying to hide his fear.

The stranger slowly removed his hood.

David gasped.

The man looked exactly like him.

Same face.

Same eyes.

Same scar on his left cheek.

The stranger smiled.

"I'm not your enemy," he said softly. "I'm here to stop the person who has been hunting our family for years."

Before David could ask another question, a loud gunshot echoed through the house.

Bang!

The window shattered.

The mysterious man pushed David to the ground.

"They've found us," he shouted. "Run... now!"

David raced toward the back door without looking back, but as he reached the gate, he saw three shadowy figures waiting outside.

There was nowhere left to run...

The Stranger at Night – Episode 6: The Hidden Room

The old wooden key shook in David's hand as he unlocked the mysterious door hidden behind the dusty bookshelf.

Click...

The door slowly creaked open.

A cold breeze rushed out, carrying the smell of old paper and damp walls.

David switched on his phone's flashlight. The small room contained only one table, a broken chair, and dozens of photographs pinned to the wall.

His heart nearly stopped.

Every photo was of him.

Some were taken years ago. Others were recent—even one taken just three days earlier while he was buying bread in the market.

"Who's been watching me?" he whispered.

Then he noticed a notebook on the table.

On the first page were the chilling words:

> "If you are reading this, you are already too late. He knows you found the room."

Suddenly...

Footsteps.

Slow... heavy... coming from upstairs.

Thud... Thud... Thud...

David held his breath.

The footsteps stopped directly above him.

Then someone whispered through the floorboards:

"David... don't come out. He's standing behind you."

David froze.

Very slowly...

He turned around.

And the flashlight went out.

The Stranger at Night – Episode 5: The Hidden Truth

As the first light of dawn broke through the trees, Daniel stood frozen outside the abandoned house. The strange whisper from the previous night still echoed in his ears.

"The truth is buried beneath the old well..."

His heart pounded as he walked toward the cracked stone well behind the house. The air suddenly became cold, and a flock of birds flew away in panic.

With trembling hands, Daniel shone his flashlight into the well. Something glinted below. It wasn't water—it was a small metal box.

After finding a long rope, he carefully lowered himself into the well and pulled the box free. Inside were old photographs, a faded diary, and a silver necklace engraved with the initials A.M.

As he opened the diary, he realized it belonged to a young woman who had disappeared more than 25 years earlier. The final page read:

«"If anyone finds this diary, don't trust the man with the black hat. He is not who everyone believes he is."»

Suddenly, Daniel heard footsteps behind him.

He turned quickly.

There, standing silently in the morning mist, was the same mysterious stranger who had been watching him every night.

This time, the stranger slowly removed his hat...

Daniel gasped.

It was someone he knew.
