"The Teacher Who Taught Me More Than Books"
True Story ā For Every Young Girl Out There
Back in secondary school, there was this teacher ā respected, charming, and intelligent. He taught us Biology, but somehow, he became more interested in teaching me his own special "language." A funny code only he and I could understand. I thought it was harmlessā¦until I realized it was his way of making private conversations feel normal.
Whenever I submitted my notes, Iād find little messages in that language:
"I love you."
"Youāre different."
"No one compares to you."
He said those words often. Heād look at girls with heavy makeup and turn to me with a smile, āI prefer your kind of beauty ā natural, untouched.ā
I was young, naĆÆve, but not stupid. I knew what he wanted. I saw the hunger behind the kindness, the desire masked in praises.
He begged me to switch to the science department. Said heād study medicine at the university and afterward, rent a pharmacy shop for me. āYouāll sell drugs, and Iāll be your first customer every day,ā heād say jokingly, but his eyes never joked.
I refused his advances. Never agreed to date him, though it wasnāt easy.
He'd try to play on my dreams ā talk about love, success, and building a future together. But I saw through it.
I was a virgin then, and somehow, I knew thatās what he really wanted.
After I left for another state, thinking it was over, he found a way to visit. Came all the way from his own state, just to see me. I was shocked.
Thatās when I finally agreed to date him ā just to confirm my suspicions.
And his first statement confirmed everything:
"You didnāt agree when we were close... now that youāre far, you say yes. I didnāt get what I wanted."
I froze.
He said it with no shame.
The whole time, his love wasnāt love. It was a chase. A goal. A prize.
My innocence.
Dear young girls,
Sometimes, manipulation comes dressed in compliments. Sometimes, predators hide behind respectability.
If your gut ever feels uneasy, listen to it.
This is not just a story. Itās a warning.
Protect your heart, your mind, and your body.
Because love isnāt supposed to feel like a trap.
