Otu to the Rescue: Emergency Intervention Begins at Landslide Stricken Community in Calabar
The Cross River State Government has commenced a swift intervention to address the devastating impact of a landslide in Calabar.
The intervention, initiated under the leadership of Governor Bassey Otu, is aimed at restoring access, protecting residents and preventing further damage to the affected area.
The Commissioner for Works, Hon. Pius Edet, was personally at the site to inspect the ongoing intervention and ensure quality work and swift delivery.
This is another demonstration of the People First administration responding promptly to the needs of residents and taking decisive action where urgent intervention is required.
Speaking with pressmen at the site, the Commissioner for Works, Hon. Pius Edet, assured residents of the state government’s commitment to the welfare, safety and well-being of everyone living in Cross River State.
According to him, Governor Bassey Otu’s “People First” agenda is not just a slogan, but a commitment being translated into tangible action through prompt interventions and responsive governance across the state.
