No one truly knows what you deserve until you voice out.

The recent news about the security personnel at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital is a perfect example.

For years, they worked tirelessly, yet earned just ₦18,800 monthly. It wasn’t until their situation was brought to light that change happened. Today, their salaries have been increased to ₦80,000.

This reminds me of a powerful truth:
👉 People may see your work, but they don’t always know your worth.

👉 Effort doesn’t automatically translate into recognition, sometimes, you must speak up.

👉 Closed mouths don’t get fed.

Life, business, career even real estate teaches us that value unexpressed often remains unrewarded.

So, don’t stay silent about what you deserve. Voice it out with confidence, back it up with excellence, and stand firm. The world adjusts when you make your value known.

✨ Your worth is not in question your voice is the key.

Imagine paying millions for a property only to discover you actually own nothing.

That’s exactly what happened to Mr K who bought land along the Dangote Refinery axis.

Some days ago, I met Mr K who shared an experience that perfectly explains why people need to be careful in property transaction.

He was so excited when he first heard about an “amazing offer” for plots of land just a few minutes after the Dangote Refinery.

To him, that sounded like a big advantage. After all, it was close to one of the fastest-developing areas in Lagos.

He didn’t ask too many questions. He just imagined how much the land would appreciate in the future, with excitement, he made payment.

After 3years, he started hearing about layout approval crisis.

He then tried to make some findings to know whether his land is safe.

That was when he discovered the bitter truth:

👉 The land he bought was actually under government acquisition specifically committed for a future project.

👉 Which meant no matter what he paid, he could never process his documents, build on it, or legally claim ownership.

He felt devastated.😌

I then asked him the following questions

Me: Were you aware of the difference between free land and land under government acquisition?

Mr K: Yes

Me: Did you work with a professional realtor or lawyer during the process?

Mr K: No

Me: What documents did the seller provide before collecting money from you?

Mr K: Receipt and Agreement

Me: Why did you buy a land that has no legal title?

Mr K: It is less expensive and planned to perfect the title in the future.

You see!

So many people have fall victim of committed land like Mr K all in the name of their sense of smartness or they don't want to miss amazing so called offer.

This is a reminder that not all lands around high-demand areas like Ibeju-Lekki or Dangote Refinery axis are safe to buy. Some are under acquisition, while others are truly free and government-approved.

Always allow a professional realtor guide you through the process to save you much trouble later.

Which is why I'm available to help you achieve your aim of owning property.

I remain your Naija Trusted Realtor. 😊

Most times, the first remark I often get about my look is;

"You resemble someone from the North, posh Hausa lady.

"Haa, lati ibo si ibo?" (From where to where?)😃

I bi Yoruba ponbale. (I'm a core Yoruba lady)

Some won't still believe
But the real shock comes when they hear me speak my native language.

At that point, they finally rest their case.

It’s always funny how names, looks, and first impressions can spark assumptions.

It was a day of glamour, excitement, and renewed hope for the future of real estate investment in Lagos.

As dignitaries such Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Housing, Barr.Barakat Odunuga- Bakare, the Representative of Commissioner for Housing, Mrs. Adegoke Ojo, The Alara of Ilara, Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo to other dignitaries, industry leaders, investors, and stakeholders stormed the grand unveiling of Lekki Avana Phase 2.

The event, which held in the heart of the Lekki-Epe corridor, was more than just an unveiling, it was a celebration of progress, trust, and opportunities.

Lekki Avana Phase 2 isn’t just another estate project, it’s a bold statement that Lagos is open for forward-thinking investors who want to position themselves for the massive development sweeping across the corridor.

The launch of Lekki Avana Phase 2 is a continuation of Dr Oluwatosin Olatujoye's audacious interest to deliver 2000 homes in 5 years.

If you’re looking to position yourself in the fast-developing Lekki-Epe axis, the time is now.

Life has a way of humbling us in the most painful ways. 💔

Some people are blessed with many, and they never experience the sting of losing even one. ( though never pray for such).

Yet, another who has only one. ☹️
Her everything, her world, her heartbeat.
Life cruelly sn**ch him away.

It doesn’t feel fair.
It doesn’t feel balanced.
It doesn’t make sense.

But who are we to question God.

This is the kind of pain words cannot comfort.
The kind of grief that leaves the heart in pieces.
For a mother, losing a child especially her only child is like losing the reason to breathe.

If anything, this reminds us that life is fragile, unpredictable, and painfully unbalanced.
Hold your loved ones tighter. Appreciate every moment. Because none of us knows how long we truly have.

May God wrap His arms around every parent grieving such a loss and give them strength to survive the unbearable. 🙏

₦5M land at Ibeju-Lekki?

That was my question when a potential client reached out and said,

He will like to get a land with a budget of ₦5M in Lagos.

Based on his budget, I recommended Epe and Ikorodu for him.

But to my greatest surprise he said, "Can I get land in Ibeju-Lekki?"

At first, that sounds like he was teasing me but I noticed he was serious. Then I decided to place him on a call instead of text to know his level of seriousness.

He was damned serious.

Then I explained Ibeju-Lekki isn’t just one spot.

From Eleko down to Eleranigbe, prices vary depending on how close you are to developments like:

✅ Dangote Refinery
✅ Lekki Deep Seaport
✅ Free Trade Zone

With ₦5M, you can't get a land with valid documents in that axis unless you want to go for the ones that will give you trouble in the future.

In real estate, location meets budget, and budget meets reality.

Buying a land of ₦5M land at Ibeju-Lekki could cost you ₦10M later.

✅ Hidden sandfilling fees
✅ Endless documentation drama
✅ Title “in process” for years
✅ Government acquisition land

Cheap land will cost you but verified land will reward you.

By the end of our conversation, he had a mindset shift.

Don't fall victim of buying a “cheap land.” Buy verified land that fits your budget and positions you for growth.

If it is not legally secure and fully titled, Don't go for it!

I remain your Naija trusted realtor. 😊

Many of the world’s most successful people faced significant setbacks before rising to greatness.

Jeff Bezos left a high-paying job to start Amazon.

He faced skepticism and countless setbacks before Amazon became the global giant it is today.

Aliko Dangote battled harsh policy changes, crushing debts, and project delays before becoming Africa’s richest man.

Ryan Serhant was a failed actor who earned just $9,000 in his first year in real estate and faced relentless rejection before becoming a Guinness World Record-holding agent.

Burna Boy was expelled from school, rejected by labels, and blacklisted in Nigeria before winning a Grammy Award.

Their journeys prove that rejection, failure, and struggle are not the end, but often the very foundation of long-term success.

Greatness is built on persistence and resilience not perfection.

And most importantly, embrace delayed gratification instead of shortcuts.

Do you think our generation values patience in success, or are we too focused on quick wins?

Sometimes you just have to stop being scared and just go for it.

Too often, we let fear stop us.
Fear of “what if it doesn’t work"?

Fear will always whisper “what if it"

The truth is, growth never happens in our comfort zone.

That big move,
That investment,
That dream, none of it will ever be 100% certain.

But taking a bold step could change the entire story.

If there’s something on your heart today. Start, try and launch it!

Do you want to make money from real estate but don't know how to start?

There are different ways you can make money in real estate but I will be mentioning just five.

5 Ways to Earn Money in Real Estate.

➡️Buy, Hold and Resell.

You can buy land in developing areas, hold for a short period, then resell at a profitability price.

Common in places to invest are Ibeju-Lekki, Epe, Ikorodu or Mowe-Ofada.

➡️Buy for Rental Income.

You may buy 2 bedroom apartment, rent it out and earn annually.

➡️By Becoming a Realtor.

Becoming a realtor helps you earn money by connecting buyers to sellers.

➡️By investing in Real Estate Cash back.

You can invest with a standard and genuine real estate company.

You earn returns on investment through Government approved real estate investment without directly owning a land.

➡️ Short-term Rentals (Airbnb).

Rent out furnished apartments to short-stay visitors and tourists for higher daily rates.

It works well in city centers especially around airports, beaches, and fun places.

If you are to consider one out of the five ways to make money in real estate.

Which one will you go for?

Let's grow wealth through profitable real estate investment.
