A few months ago,
I made a decision that completely changed the direction of my life.
I decided to transition into tech.
To be honest, it hasn't been easy.
I've had days when I questioned myself, days when I struggled to understand new tools, days my internet failed, or I had to learn everything from my phone because that's all I had at the time
I've spent countless hours learning IT support, customer support, CRM tools, sales, and remote work skills.
I've learned platforms like HubSpot, Zendesk, Trello, Slack, and other workplace tools.
I have updated my CV many times than I can count, attended my first interviews which by the way, feel like my performance was terrible, recorded introduction videos, and kept pushing myself to improve.
There were moments I felt underqualified because I don't have a university degree π
There were times I wondered if employers would ever give me a chance.
But the difference is that I have kept and keep pushing towards improvement
Every rejected and ignored applications became a lesson. Every interview taught me something new. Each step I have taken has helped boost my confidence
This journey has taught me that growth isn't always loud. Sometimes it's choosing to study when you're tired, applying for another job after receiving no response, and believing in yourself even when nobody else sees your potential yet.
I'm still learning. I'm still growing. And I'm still showing up every single day.
I know my opportunity is coming.
To everyone else trying to change careers, learn a new skill, or build a better future
don't stop.
Your progress may feel slow, but every small step counts.
One day, you'll look back and realize that all those difficult days were preparing you for the opportunity you've been praying for.
And when that day comes, every struggle will have been worth it
