"I think Wizkid removed me from Morayo because I announced that I have a song with Davido." __ Omah Lay

"I don't even know how to describe Wizkid anymore. I feel like he's just out here to give people paîn. Wizkid made me believe that I was gonna be on his album, 'Morayo' the day we were in the studio. Wizkid was dancing to my verse when we were in the studio and told me that the song was gonna make track 7 in his album. But after we left the studio and he went back to the UK, he called me and told me that he listened to the song very carefully again and my verse wasn't lyrically good enough. I now said okay, and did another verse sent it to him the next day and he still called me a week later and told me that my verse wasn't good enough. And after sending him different verses for like 5 times and getting the same reply, depression started to set in. So I went into the studio and recorded the last verse and when I sent it to him, he sent me a video of him dancing and told me that it's a hit. But I was shocked when he released the album without our song. So I reached out to him and I was like hey Wiz, why am I not on the album? And he said: 'I don't like that song.' I couldn't even believe it, Wizkid really hûrt my feelings. But then I later understood that it was because of my forthcoming song with Davido." Omah Lay
